In the event of equality faults and time will decide i.e. the fastest competitors with four faults will qualify. All scores in the first round will be carried forward to the second round. Competitors in the second round will start in the reverse order of merit or the slowest competitors with four faults will go first the faster clear last. If necessary, for those who do not reach the second round, faults and time in the first round will determine their placing. However these competitors will be placed after those who compete in round two. If a competitor withdraws from the second round he/she will not be replaced and he/she will receive the placing from the first round. At least five prizes have to be awarded. Late entries subject to availability and to a surcharge of £10 per horse per class.
Within all Tours riders may compete a maximum of FOUR horses in each Tour. In the event of over subscription fourth horses might be balloted.
No transfer is allowed once a horse has started in a specific tour.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance or on the day. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Hartpury College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry fees are per horse per class as stated in the schedule plus £7.50 for Medical Cover in accordance with Rule 73.8.e, per rider however many horses are entered.

HARTPURY SHOWJUMPING SPECTACULAR AMATEUR RULES FOR CLASSES 6 - 11 AMATEUR ‘A’ TOUR For Registered Horses to be ridden by members excluding the top 200 Riders on British Showjumping Gold League as at 31st July 2016 Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team, (Nations Cup, World, European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible. (Excluding Veteran Teams) AMATEUR ‘B’ TOUR For Registered Horses to be ridden by members excluding the top 100 Riders on British Showjumping Gold League as at 31st July 2016 Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team, (Nations Cup, World, European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible. (Excluding Veteran Teams) GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS Intending Exhibitors and Competitors are particularly requested to peruse these Rules and Regulations carefully in addition to the Special Conditions applicable to the various classes and competitions. Entries are accepted from Exhibitors and Competitors who are allowed to compete only on the clear understanding that they agree to comply with and be bound by these Rules and Regulations and the Special Conditions relating to each class or competition. STALLIONS Competitors’ attention is drawn to Rule 82 – Conduct of Members. It is expected that competitors abide by this rule at all times when on the show ground. Rule 82.21. No member of the British Show Jumping shall allow a stallion for which he is responsible as owner, lease, authorised agent or rider, to attend a show, compete or be prepared to compete in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other horses/ponies, competitors and members of the public are not put at risk of injury. Stallion owners/riders are also asked to note and comply with rule 102.11. SMOKING There is a NO SMOKING policy which covers all areas of the Equestrian Centre with the exception of the designated smoking area. STABLES Limited stables available. Stables are open for occupation from 6.00pm on Thursday 18th December. Departure from stables by 8.00pm on Sunday 11th December. If you need to arrive/depart at different times please discuss with the Event Office. If departing on Friday or Saturday, stables must be vacated and left clean by 4pm on day of departure. If arriving on Friday or Saturday stables may not be available until 5pm due to changeover. FORFEITURE OF FEES AND CHARGES Failure to exhibit any animal entered will entail forfeiture of entry fees and all other charges other than in accordance with British Show Jumping rules. Should any competition be cancelled because of bad weather or any other reason, entry fees will be refunded. MEDIA AND PHOTOGRAPHY Photography and filming for personal use only is permitted, subject to any event safety requests regarding use of flash photography etc. For media and photography for commercial purposes prior accreditation is required. Please contact the event office for a Media Accreditation Application form. GENERAL • No motorised quad bikes allowed. • Dogs must be on leads in all areas AT ALL TIMES. • Hard hats with chin straps fastened must be worn at all times whilst mounted. • Late entries will be subject to a surcharge of £10 per horse per class. Nomination entries will not be accepted. All entries must be sent to the Event Office, Hartpury College, Hartpury, Gloucestershire, GL19 3BE, together with the correct amount of entry fees. • Competitors may enter Classes 1, 6, 9, 12 & 13 as single classes. All other classes are based on a Tour entry and all competitors MUST jump the first leg to go onto the further classes. • The Organising Committee reserves the right to use images of competitors at Hartpury for any promotional purpose. The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions as they think fit. • The Organising Committee reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or on the ground even if locked and unattended and the Organising Committee will not be liable for injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. • In Jumping Competitions all horses must be registered with the British Show Jumping and be the property of, and ridden by, members of that Association. If an animal is up-graded before a competition it may be transferred upon notice and payment of full upgrade fee to the Organising Committee to another appropriate competition. • Any competitor found riding in any of the ring without permission will be disqualified from the show and reported to the Stewards of the British Show Jumping. All warming up must be done in the area provided. • Neither The Hartpury Arena nor the Organising Committee nor Hartpury College nor any of them nor any of its or their officers, servants or agents shall be in any way liable for any accidents, injury, damage, loss or for anything that may happen (from any cause or circumstances whatever) to exhibitors, competitors or members or their servants, agents or to anyone on the show ground or to any animal or article exhibited or to any property brought on to the show ground or for any other loss, claim, matter, circumstances or event whatsoever in connection with, or arising out of, or attributable to the show or any journey to or from the show, the Organising Committee of Hartpury College or any of them or its or their officers, servants or agents of these or any other Rules and Regulations or Special Conditions prescribed by them. • The Organising Committee may in any dispute or other matter whatsoever, act or decide in any manner they think fit.
