Show Information
Entries close on Friday 15th July 2016 and will be on a first-come first-allocated basis.
If there are too many entries the last entries received will be placed on a waiting list.

There are classes for all abilities including those that are newcomers/beginners and leading rein competitors (The runners need to be fit!). There will be music classes on August 6th from approximately 3.00pm when everyone will be welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the fun (Let’s hope the sun shines!).

Nearer the event, all are welcome to come up and have a practice before the event.

The classes are open to all and any combination is encouraged to enter. Junior classes for under 16 on 1.1.16 will be held as separate classes if there are sufficient numbers. The under 12 classes are as at 1.1.16 and are open to competitors that do not compete in elementary or above. Please note anyone can enter an Open only class (If there are enough restricted riders the class will be split).

The Walk Trot and Introductory tests are for those competitors who do not compete at above Preliminary 15.

If any competitor would like any additional advanced classes please let us know and it can be arranged.

All Music must be on CD and in standard audio format. Computer discs and tapes will not work on our machine. Nearer the time there will be an opportunity to test your music and have a practice on the arena. Please call Susie on 07781165006 to arrange. Please note all music tests have been revised in 2016 and sheets are available from BD.

As you are aware any support with help, refreshments or a donation to help with the Prize Fund would be much appreciated. Approximately £40 is required to support each class and be sponsored so any sponsors are very welcome.
Please note that as we have five dogs that consider this to be their home, we would appreciate that dogs stay in their cars or at home.

Forest Farm Walk and Trot tests are available at www.forestfarmdressage.com (These are the 60metre tests)

Payment Details & Event Fees
Bookings in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Forest Farm Dressage.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Entry Fee for Unaffiliated classes is £13 per class
Extra £4 per class for late entries.

Prize Information
We will be providing sponsor rosettes and prizes so if anyone is willing to contribute to the prize fund (say £40) we would be extremely grateful. Please contact Susie on 265006

Special Classes
All the BD classes can be used as qualifiers for the Area Festival to be held in Jersey in September.
There will be awards for highest scores, Leading Combinations at all levels plus trophies for Leading Junior, Leading Novice/Prelim and leading Elem and above combination.
Catherine Best Jewellery will be awarded to the leading combination at novice and above for those that enter at least three tests and one of those tests is at elementary level.(highest three scores to count including music)

Terms & Conditions

2. Entry Fee for Unaffilliated classes is £13 per class , BD classes are £14 a class, and an extra £4 per class for late entries. Please make cheques payable to Forest Farm Dressage and send to Susie Farnon, Les Villets Farm, Les Villets, Forest, Guernsey GY8 0HP. Any queries call 01481 265006 or 07781 165006. Payments can be made directly via the equine affairs web site.
3. Times will be e-mailed or available on 01481 265006 on 31st July from 6.30pm-8.30pm.
4. It would be appreciated if each competitor could have a helper to open and close the gate to the arenas and pick up any droppings on the surface.
5. Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available.
6. The Organisers accept no liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, grooms, spectators or any third parties, however caused.
7. No dogs are permitted on the grounds
8. All entries must be accompanied by the correct fees. 75% of the entry fee will be refunded if withdrawals are made before the close of entries.
9. Combinations may only ride a test competitively once a day. Any repeat would be on an H/C basis.
10. Competitors who are under 12 and compete in elementary or above are not eligible for the under 12 classes.
11. .Newcomers is for any competitor who is not a regular Prelim or Novice Rider or has not competed for some time, if you wish for clarification please ring Susie. Any rider that has achieved 68% or over in newcomers is encouraged to move up to Preliminary restricted.
12. Where tests are Open only, depending on entries they may be further split into Restricted or Junior sections. Anyone may enter an Open only class.
We hope the event will be enjoyable and any assistance you or your friends can give would be appreciated. We need help as paddock stewards and scribes and also with judge’s lunches. Please let Susie or Lisa Gidney 07781 104381 know if you are able to assist. Cakes would be very welcome!
