Walking the Course
The NEW mini course will be a shortened route over a mainly enclosed area, and there may be up to 2 knock down fences. The course will be available to walk from 3pm on Saturday 27th May. Please note that permanent fences may be flagged but not numbered. These do not form part of the numbered competition course. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of the correct course for your class.

Show Information
Postal or Online Entries Closing Date 25th May 2015
Classes 1 – 5 are for children 12yrs & under and ponies 14.2 & under.
Classes 6 & 7 are for novice or nervous adults wishing to gain confidence.

Explanation:
Assisted – Parent / Helper may accompany the competitor on the course and call instructions but physically helping or touching pony or rider will result in elimination.
Unassisted – Pony & rider must complete course alone without any outside instruction or help.

Judging and Scoring.
1st refusal, run out or circle – 20 penalties, 2nd refusal, run out or circle – 40 penalties, 3rd refusal, run out or circle – Elimination. Competitors may continue on the course at the Fence Judges discretion
Knock down – 10 penalties
Unseated Rider – 65 penalties . Competitor may re-mount and continue if they are deemed fit to do so by the First Aid Officer attending.
Fall of horse - Elimination with no remounting. Competitor must leave the course immediately by the quickest and safest route.
Error of Course - Elimination. Competitors may continue on the course at the Fence Judges discretion.
Winners are those with least number of penalties. In the event of a tie, the fastest time through the timed section wins.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries accepted in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Deer Park. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Please make sure you check details here to make sure you enter the correct amounts in the payment boxes and fill in all necessary fields.

Clear Round Jumping £4 per round.
Deer Park number bibs only to be worn and a £5 refundable deposit is required on collection of your bib.
Medical armbands and body protectors must be worn at all Deer Park Events

Prize Information
Rosettes 1st – 6th and all clear rounds. Medals to the winners and sweets for everyone!

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawal / cancellation of entries will incur a £3 admin fee. No refunds will be given after the closing date.

Terms & Conditions
Entries will be restricted and classes may close before the official closing date if full.
Hats conforming to current British Safety Standards must be worn at all times when mounted
Medical Armbands and Body protectors are compulsory
All jewellery must be removed and piercings removed or taped over.
Dogs must be kept on short leads at ALL times and children supervised.
All competitors must obey the instructions of the Organisers, Officials, Stewards and Fence Judges at all times. Failure to do so will result in elimination from competition. If a competitor receives First Aid treatment, they will only be allowed to continue with the permission of the First Aid official present on the day
Collecting ring / Warm up – Please be considerate to other users, always pass left to left and always jump with the red flag on the right.
Any horse competing HC must remain so for the whole day.
Do Not leave horses / ponies unattended in the lorry park and please do not leave horses unattended outside lorries or trailers
Objections must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 mins of the end of a class, together with a £10 non-returnable fee. The judge’s / organisers decision is FINAL and must be respected.
Any behaviour deemed inappropriate by the Officials will result in elimination from competition.
The Organisers reserve the right to alter the schedule, cancel or close a class or refuse an entry.
All reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of competitors, officials and spectators. All persons attending Deer Park events do so entirely at their own risk.
No responsibility for any theft, damage, loss, accident or illness to any person, animal or property arising from any cause whatsoever connected with Deer Park Events, will be taken by the landowners, organisers or officials.
