Our Equine Affairs member and tester for Equilibrium’s Therapy Massage Pad
was Dianne Barrett.
Dianne is an Advanced Rider and Freelance Instructor and is pictured here with
her Dressage horse “Mac” whom she has trained from Prelim
to Prix St George.
Equilibrium’s Therapy Massage Pad was used daily on Mac over an eight week
period in conjunction with his normal exercise and turnout routine.

This should be top of everyone’s Christmas list! The Massage Pad totally
aids the horse to both relax & accept his rider & work. It has to be
a must in every yard today.
It took a few sessions for Mac to accept the Pad but now he
seems to go to sleep and is completely relaxed - when the pad is working
through the programs you can feel the vibrations through the whole of his body.
Mac is definitely taking a longer stride in both his walk and trot - pingingly better in fact!
In addition to the length of stride
he is also stretching and working through his back more easily and much sooner during his
schooling sessions.
Mac has always been a horse with various back problems and stiffness which has required
some type of regular therapy to help alleviate his discomfort. Since I started using the
Therapy Massage Pad, nearly 8 weeks ago, I havent felt the need for anyone to see him - a great saving!
This product is tough, durable and the battery does last for ages.
Everything tucks away neatly so there is never anything to bang against the horses side or catch in the stable.
The belly straps are nice, wide and keep the pad securely in place. The breast strap
allows you to decide how far forward or back you position it.
I only wish this product had been available years ago.
I wont be telling everyone I meet about it - I want the Therapy Massage Pad to be my new secret weapon!

This soft, pliable massage pad covers the horse’s back from withers to quarters.
The adjustable straps fit a wide range of horses. It is easy to clean, and
readily portable, being lightweight and packed in a small nylon carry bag.
Independent clinical results demonstrate that in 6 weeks the pad improved back
flexibility, increased stride length, and promoted relaxation.
Each massage session lasts for 30 minutes and runs through a series of programmes
designed to stimulate muscles. There are 3 settings:
Low - for cooling down after exercise
Medium - to warm muscles prior to exercise
High - to help alleviate back problems
The battery lasts for at least 6 sessions and recharges in 3 hours.
