MEET OUR TESTERS: Hayley Sharman & Vincent III
Equine Affairs Marketing Director and tester for
EQUILIBRIUM Therapy Magnetic Back Pad was Hayley Sharman & Vincent III,
owned by Sarah Hulme.
Vincent is a 6 year old KPWN gelding who was imported from Holland as a colt.
Brought on slowly and carefully he has been competing for just 9 months achieving
consistently impressive scores at both unaffiliated & British
Dressage events, recently qualifying for the Petplan Area Festivals this autumn.
By Ed King Hill, a proven producer of jumpers, Vincent will also start competing at
BSJA competitions this winter.

Since being introduced to the Magnetic Therapy Back Pad it has become an integral
part of our day to day routine being used pre and post exercise. It is also used
between tests at competitions to keep his back warm and relieve any stiffness!
The pad is soft and light weight, moulding to the contours of his back providing
a comfortable fit. Unlike other pads on the market, the real benefit is the ability
to move the magnetic strips so you can position them to suit your horse and his
needs. The straps keep the pad in position and are easy to adjust - being a young
& inquisitive horse I was concerned about leaving him in the pad overnight in
case it slipped but this wasn`t the case.
The clear benefits for us have been prior to exercise. Vincent can often show
signs of being cold-backed and I have found using this prior to exercise
really warms his back muscles up reducing discomfort when the girth is tightened.
Naturally, the Magnetic Pad has gathered interest at my yard and during testing was often being ‘borrowed’ when horses have shown some discomfort or stiffness during work.
They will now have to buy their own as we would definitely recommend this product particularly for horses that are
sensitive or cold-backed. It’s sensibly priced enabling the every day
