MEET OUR TESTERS: Di Barrett & KnightsBridge B
Our Equine Affairs member and tester for Equilibrium’s Stretch & Flex® Training Wraps was Di Barrett.
Di is an Advanced Rider and Freelance Instructor and is pictured here with her Advanced Dressage horse "Mack" whom she has trained from Prelim
to Prix St George.
At the beginning of 2007 Mack fractured his sesamoid bone which resulted in nearly 12 months of treatment
and recovery time. Due to the tendons and ligaments that pass over the fracture site it has been
crucial to keep the right balance of protection and support whilst coming back into full work.
Di currently uses Polo Bandages rather than boots whilst training as she believes they offer the best level
of support and protection for Mack - can our wraps measure up to their old rivals!!

When I first used the training Wraps I was immediately impressed by how the
tension was like that of a polo bandage when fitted using the manufacturers
instructions. The fit was great and they provided a uniform tension which is very
important to us when using any type of supportive bandage or boot.
The material felt light, soft and was very flexible providing a smooth fit around his leg.
The material was breathable and the small holes kept his legs cool during work leaving no
pimply indentations.
These boots look great and at competitions were on and off in a flash!
My overall verdict - a super all round boot which looks great and provides light
support and protection for your horse. There is definately a place in the market and
I can see them being very popular with all types of riders. They definately have a place in my day to day kit!
