This is the highest level, with established collection and equivalent to PSG/Advanced direct transitions and a high level of training with balance and harmony to be ridden with reins in one hand (left). Horses must be a minimum of 6 years old or over.

Show Information

Monday 18th May, 2026 (Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organiser with no additional charge if spaces are still available and before the times are published on the 20th May – please contact the show secretary directly if after the closing date).

Warm up and competition in a large newly surfaced and fenced outdoor arena.
The Ease of Handling Course will be open to competitors of all levels for walking at the same time after the dressage phase has been completed and the course set up. All competitors are required to be in full competition dress including helmets while walking the course.
Only Juniors may be accompanied by a non-competing adult. Anyone not competing or accompanying a Junior is not permitted to take part in the course walk.

Full dress is also required for the (unmounted) prize giving at the end of the day. See Rider Dress pp14-15 and Horse Tack and Equipment pp15-16 in the Rulebook https://abweofficial.co.uk/pages/rules

Optional - make it into a mini-camp and stay over on the Saturday and have a relaxed two days. Pre-competition dressage practice and obstacle familiarisation clinic on Saturday 23rd May (the day before the competition). Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries in advance by the closing date.
Entry fee: £55 per class for BWE members £75 (£55 plus £20 day ticket) for non-members (see below).
ABWE Membership Numbers will be required and checked upon entry. This can be found in your welcome email (search 'membermojo' in your email) or by logging into Member mojo at https://membermojo.co.uk with your email.

Non-members PYO Class
Non-members of British Working Equitation may compete at any level. The non-members entry fee is £75 which includes a £20 day ticket surcharge (£55 + £20) and is passed to the association to enable riders to be a 'day member'.

Stabling Information: Yes

Stables (night/day) can be booked directly through the venue. Please contact the Grange on 01837 352452.

Prize Information

Rosettes sponsored by “Ginger Dragon”. “Best in ….” Certificates and Goody Bags will also be awarded. There will also be a special rosette from “Ginger Dragon” for the highest score achieved by a Devon or Cornish competitor.

Refreshments:

The Café will be open on the Saturday evening as well as during the day on Sunday. However please be prepared with you own refreshments as back up throughout the day.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds less admin fees available until entries close, transfer to another class available until times are published. NO refunds or transfers after times released.
