  • BRC has introduced a ‘competition pass’ this will take the place of Pre-Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must have a valid club membership AND a valid competition pass, which can be purchased via the BRC Sport80 portal. Any member competing at a qualifier without both club membership and a competition pass will be disqualified. 
  • Please email vaccination records for all horses not on the Area database and any vaccination update to area9vaccinations@outlook.com.
  • Entries close 10th May 2026. Late Entries will be accepted up to 9am on 14th May if Space allows at £3.00 extra

Show Information

Novice Combined Training, Classes 1,2,3 and 4

  • This is a mixed class open to Senior and Junior Teams and Individuals.
  • Teams may be any combination of senior and /or junior members, with 3 scores to count.
  • All team members are automatically in the Individual competition.

One team member will ride Prelim 1/60cm show jumping, one team member will ride Prelim 2 /60cm show jumping, one team member will ride Prelim 2 /70cm show jumping  and one member Novice 2 /70cm show jumping.

 

Open Combined Training, Classes 5 ,6 ,7 and 8

  • This is a mixed class open to senior and junior teams and individuals.
  • Teams may be any combination of senior and /or junior members, with 3 scores to count.
  • All team members are automatically in the individual competition.

One team member will ride Prelim 1/80cm show jumping, one team member will ride Novice 1/80cm show jumping, one team member will ride Prelim 2/90cm show jumping  and one Novice 2/90cm show jumping.

This competition will run under British Riding Club Rules. Hats
All hats must have a visible Pink BRC/BE/PC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For current hat rules please see the 2026 handbook.

Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website, but if you are unsure, please email a scanned copy of your horses Flu Vac cert to penpony@hotmail.com or area9vaccinations@outlook.com.

Numbers to qualify as per Appendix 10 dependant on Appendix 9 in the current BRC Handbook.

Payment Details & Event Fees
  • Online entries only.
  • Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment. Please check this to confirm your entries. 
  • No late entries/changes after times are published.
  • £35.00 per entry which includes Paramedic First Aid cover

Withdrawals/Refunds
  • If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of initial entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be approved at the original close of initial entry.
  • All competitions are pre-entry only, no refund or transfer is possible after initial close of entries date as published on the schedule.
  • All withdrawals to be made via e-mail please.
  • The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
  • For withdrawals before the published closing date refunds of the Entry Cost can be made less £3.00 Admin Fee. Alternatively, we can offer a free transfer to another event.
  • Abandonment Policy - In the case of abandonement of the competition for any reason we will offer a free transfer towards an alternative competition - or a refund minus a £3 admin fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
  • No refunds or transfers can be made during the late entry period unless we are able to replace it from a wait list.

Terms & Conditions
  • All entries and payments to be made online.
  • PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ENTER THE CORRECT CLASSES AS ONCE INITIAL ENTRIES HAVE CLOSED WE WILL BE UNABLE TO CHANGE CLASSES, REFUND OR TRANSFER YOUR ENTRY. 
  • ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles.
  • All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza,
  • Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis.
  • Please park considerately.
  • HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.
  • Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.
  • PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER. NUMBERS WILL BE
  • ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE.
  • NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas.
  • Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes.
  • You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete.
  • No scoreboards or screens will be used on event, all scores/results will be published online on www.ridingclubresults.co.uk
  • DRESSAGE SHEETS - available on the day
  • PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK.
  • Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times but they are not permitted in the main building or an of the arenas. No Exceptions. 
  • Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a very high-risk sport and therefore, West Wilts Equestrian Centre and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, owners or other persons or property.
