Those who withdraw in writing before 14th May 2026 will have their entry fee (excluding the online booking fee), less an admin fee of £4.00 per Class refunded. Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded.

The making of an entry indicates your acceptance of these Rules and Conditions.
Enter On Line via our web site https://www.snowballfarm.co.uk/snowball-events/enter-online/ Telephone and email entries will not be accepted. Show Secretary must be informed of any changes to the original entry of Rider or Horse/Pony. Change of Horse and Rider is not permitted.

General Rules:
The Unaffiliated Combined Training Classes and Dressage guided by BD and BS rules. Competitors should make themselves aware of the rules.
Horse/pony must be 4 years or older.
Warm Up: No-one on foot in the warm-up area. No leading/lungeing in the warm-up areas. Anyone asked to leave the warm-up areas by a Steward must do so immediately.
Correct riding attire must be worn. Correct riding attire must be worn in all classes and phases. British Showjumping Dress Code is applicable in all classes. Correctly fitting hard hat manufactured to one of the minimum current standards (PAS 015 (2011) and VG1 with a kitemark, ASTM F1163: 2004a onwards with an SEI mark, SNELL E2016 with a SNELL label and number, AS/NZS 3838, from 2006 onwards with SAI global mark) with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted at Snowball Farm. Competitors MUST have a bridle or saddle cloth number on both sides.
Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite the Farm. Spectators are welcome but please park in the field opposite the Farm and not in the Farm car park. Please keep children under close supervision. All dogs must be kept on non-extendable leads at all times.
Riders, their colleagues and their horses are respectfully asked to keep away from the Riding School. Please obey the signs.
The ruling of the Judges is final. A deposit of £15.00 must be lodged prior to an objection (in writing), which will be returned if the objection is upheld.
The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any Class for whatever reason they deem necessary, to disqualify any rider at any stage, to alter the schedule at any time. If the event is abandoned a £4.00 admin fee will be retained on all refunds.
Health & Safety Statement Snowball Farm, organisers of this event, have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the officials and stewards.

Additional Rules for BRC members competing in the Qualifying Sections:
BRC have adjusted the numbers to qualify due to requests from many areas. For further information on the numbers to qualify for BRC championships, members are advised to review the BRC current handbook.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for all classes can be found in the current BRC Handbook. Eligibility will be taken from the date of the qualifier, any points/gained between the qualifier and championships will not be counted. All competitors must be a member and be on the BRC Database by midday the Friday before the qualifier. All riders must have a competition pass on their membership profile for the horse they are riding. Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed.
Hats
All hats must have a visible HOT PINK BRC/BE/PC hat tag in place before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up-to-date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.
Body Protectors
Body protectors are not required for combined training, however riders may wear them at their discretion; if worn, body protectors should be up to standard.
Flu Vaccinations
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations following rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also an excel date checker spreadsheet available to download on the BRC website. It is compulsory for all horses to be microchipped. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the horse is chipped and it is traceable.
