The dressage section will take place in the Outdoor Arenas and the Showjumping will take place in the Indoor Arenas.

The Showjumping Course will stay the same throughout the day and will have no doubles. It will be run as a Table A4 (which is the whole round against the clocks where combinations are placed based on lowest faults then quickest time). Please note: 3rd refusal = elimination.

Combined Training - A competitor rides their Dressage test before their Showjumping round at assigned times. Results will be calculated by SJ faults being deducted from their dressage score to provide a final score. The quickest showjumping place will determine the placings for those on an equal fiinal score.

Combined Training - The Combined Training Classes are Trailblazers Direct Qualifiers - the top 5 overall qualify (Ponies: Prelim-60cm & Novice-70cm / Horses: Prelim-60cm & Novice-70cm & Elementary-80cm). Dressage - Any score over 60% qualifies for the Bury Farm Unaffiliated Dressage Championships 2026.

As the health and safety of all visitors is paramount please ensure that you have read the below information as you will be asked to comply with these guidelines during the course of your visit. Bury Farm reserves the right to ask competitors to leave the centre if any of the below guidelines are breached.

In line with biosecurity measures please have your passports available for inspection upon arrival at the centre. Horses must have up-to-date vaccinations and the organisers reserve the right to turn horses away from the competition if proof of vaccination records cannot be presented upon arrival. 

The dressage section will take place in the Outdoor Arenas and the Showjumping will take place in the Indoor Arenas.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries for Bury Farm shows must be made online via the event link on the Events Tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk. 
Entries will not be accepted after the closing date unless space allows. 
Once submitted entries may be changed prior to the times being published by contacting enquries@buryfarmestates.co.uk with entry changes. 
Once the times have been published entries may still be amended but only if a horse and/or rider can be substituted into the class and time on the published schedule. 

First Aid charges have been included in the Class Prices.

Stabling Information: Yes

Day Stables are available at £10 per stable.

Stables can be booked online alongside your entries. 

Any horse or pony which uses a Bury Farm stable must be deemed fit and healthy, and must be fully vaccinated. Bury Farm operates a 12-month vaccination policy. Passports must be checked prior to being allowed access to the Stabling Area.

All stables must be left clean and dry with banks forked to the sides upon departure. A muck out fee of £15 will be charged for any competitor who does not leave stables in a suitable condition upon departure

Vouchers -

CT & Dressage  Vouchers are awarded for OVERALL placings within a class and are offered within the spirit of BD rules regarding prizes.- 5-8 entries - 1st prize awarded, 9-12 entries - 1st and 2nd prize awarded & 13 entries or more - 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize awarded. 1st Place Voucher = £15, 2nd Place = £10, 3rd Place = £5. 

SJ Vouchers are awarded for Section placing. 1st = £10, 2nd = £5, 3rd = £5. Only those that are clear are eligable for a voucher.

Vouchers can be redeemed at the Bury Farm Cafe or towards entries.

Vouchers must be used by the recipient. If used towards a show entry it can only be used against entries to a Bury Farm show (excluding championship shows). The voucher must be USED within the three month date, i.e. the event against which the voucher is redeemed must fall on or before the expiry date.

N.B. VOUCHERS WILL NOT BE PRESENTED TO PRIZE WINNERS AT THE SHOW. THESE WILL BE EMAILED TO COMPETITORS AFTER THE EVENT.

Refreshments:

The paddocks cafe team will provide a service on the day of competiton and will be offering hot and cold food, drinks and snacks throughout the show hours.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds and transfers to future shows will not be issued after times have been published. A transfer of entries may be considered if the competitor emails enquiries@buryfarmestates.co.uk prior to the show times being published. Bury Farm will issue refunds for entries in line with British Showjumping rules. Bury Farm reserves the right to charge an administration fee for any refund or transfer of entries.

By entering any equestrian class or competition run or held at Bury Farm EC you acknowledge that you are taking part in a risk sport and are a competent rider at the level to which you are competing.

Please ensure you have read all of the information regarding guidelines for staying safe and well during your visit to Bury Farm EC

 Our agreed onsite partner SBM Photographic will provide a photographic service at selected Bury Farm shows, complying with GDPR guidelines. Some large Bury Farm events are live streamed by H&C TV and by Clip My Horse TV  under the guidance of equine media services policies.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES

All horses must be travelled with passports which can demonstrate that all vaccinations are up to date (Bury Farm operates a 12-month vaccination policy)

Horses must also show no clinical signs of the following when attending the centre:

  1. recent cough of unknown cause
  2. recent nasal discharge of unknown cause
  3. enlarged lymph nodes
  4. fever (>38.5 degrees)
  5. recent onset of neurological signs of unknown cause
  6. diarrhoea

Horses must also 

  1. not be under current investigation for EHV infection
  2. have not been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for EHV
  3. have not travelled out of the country for the past 28 days.

 Horses should NOT be brought to the centre if they are not in good health on the date of travel.

 

1. The decision of the judges & stewards in all cases is final. They reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any part of the competition or to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
2. The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health, safety and welfare of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
3. The organisers will not be held responsible and accept no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, rider, spectators, vehicles or their contents and accessories, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. It is a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify against any legal action arising from such incident.
4. All competitors must be suitably dressed in correct riding attire to current British Safety Standards. Riding / Jodhpur boots must be worn for all classes. 
5. Horses & ponies tied to lorry or trailers must not be left unattended.
6. Please ensure the area around your horsebox / trailer is clean and tidy. Droppings collected and not swept onto or left on BFEC. Please take litter home or use the bins provided.
7. Children must be supervised at all times
8. Whilst outside arenas, horses and ponies should be moved at a walk only.
9. No dogs allowed, other than in Lorry Park Only and MUST be on a lead at all times

10. Drivers are urged to take extra care when driving around the Show Centre and in the surrounding villages. Please be mindful of horses, pedestrians & other vehicles.
