Show Information
Sections: Junior riders to be under 18 on the day of competing. Senior riders to be 18 years and over.
Entries: Close of entries is Thursday 26th March. We reserve the right to close entries earlier if classes become full.
All classes will take place outdoors in the Waterloo Arena
BS legal Whips only will be accepted in both the warm up and competition ring
Dress code: In line with BRC dress code
Single-phase event: A competitor rides the full course, going forward to the timed section of the course unless they are eliminated in the first round. The judge will signal an elimination by ringing the bell at which point the rider will leave the arena immediately.

Special Classes
This event includes qualifiers for the new BRC Club Show Jumping Series. More info on this series can be found at https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/competitions/brc-competitions/starnewstar-brc-club-jumping-series/ - BRC Club SeriesShow Jumping - Classes 1-3 will be qualifiers for the BRC Club Series - this is an accessible and inclusive SJ series for BRC riders who may be nervous about competing, have disabilities which prevents them from jumping higher or those who are new to BRC and maybe have never jumped before or for those working towards competing at BRC Championships at 60cm or above.

Withdrawals/Refunds
No refund of entry fee will be made except on the receipt of a vets or doctors certificate. A £3.00 admin charge will be made on any refund.

Terms & Conditions

1) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI standards at all times when mounted on the show ground. 2) All dogs to be kept on a lead at all times & are not allowed in the arena. 3) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians. 4) Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 years, who will be fully responsible for their behaviour and welfare. 5) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be silenced during competitions. 6) Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site. 7) Please keep the lorry park clear of hay and droppings. 8) No refund of entry fee will be made except on the receipt of a vets or doctors certificate.
