Entry qualifcatons: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have
not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6(b) For all horses born on
or afer 1st January 2017, irrespectve of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualifcaton to Second
Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance
with Rule 312.6. Rule 102.16, Britsh Showjumping Hind Boot rule for Boots / Leg Protecton applies to this class.
Qualifes for: Senior Newcomers Second Round.Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying
period for 2022/2023 (2023 second rounds and fnals) is 1 May '22– 30 April '23 (subject to revision). Numbers to
qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least
four Senior Newcomers First Round compettons in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in a Senior
Newcomers Second Round, irrespectve of their placings for prize money in those compettons, which will be
determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). To obtain a double clear qualifcaton, even if the horse is the only
clear round, it must jump a jump-off round and jump clear to gain a double clear round.If combined with an open: In
the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

qualify to the final. Also any two double clears from any International Trial or Area Trial or classes 1.40m or above in
the qualifying period will qualify for the Final. Double clear qualifications will not be obtained from one round
competitions (e.g. Table A4 or Table A (1 Round)Rule 284.3: All compettors in the 1.30m section jump the first round.
All obstacles on the course are then raised and compettors in the 1.40m then jump the first round.

Entries in advance only www.wellington-riding.co.uk/events. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System: Payment is secure and it goes directly Wellington Riding. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment. First Aid £4 per rider/ per day.
Competitors have four weeks from the day of the show to claim their prize money. Due to the new GDPR guidance, Wellington Riding are not permitted to keep or store competitor details so prize money winners must email their details through on each occasion. Where possible prize money will be paid back on to the card that made the booking if your prize money does not exceed the booking made.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5. No refunds or transfers are provided, under any circumstances, after the published start time of the first class on the show day.
I agree that none of the horses I have entered for this event, and none of the horses stabled at the same premises, have returned from or travelled through Europe, in particular: France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Poland, Netherlands, Germany and Slovakia, in the 28 days prior to this event.
I agree that all horses entered are up to date with vaccinations/boosters to comply with the requirements of both Wellington Riding and the relevant governing bodies. IMPORTANT – Rules pertaining to the Health & Safety of all persons at Wellington Riding. i) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI Standards at all times when mounted on the show ground. ii) All dogs should be kept on a lead at all times. iii) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at the walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians. iv) Children under the age of 16 years should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 yrs, who will be held responsible for their behaviour and welfare. v) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be switched off during competitions. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site vi) For safety reasons, the gate across the main driveway must be kept closed at all times. vii) In line with BS rule 79.5 cancellations received by noon 48 hours before the first day of the competition will have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds or transfers will be given.
Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, riders, owners or other persons or property.
If weather conditions are extreme, please ring and check in case of cancellation.
**COVID Guidelines** 1) If you or someone you have recently been in contact with is showing any of the following symptoms: unusual tiredness/fatigue, fever or high temperature, dry cough, aches, pains, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhoea, then we ask that you please DO NOT attend these events. 2) Each competitor can be accompanied by one person per horse 3) Social distancing of 2m MUST be adhered to at all times. 4) Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the facility. 5) Face masks must be worn for course walks, when at the Secretary's office and when inside the Clubhouse and Café. 6) Vaccinations for all horses must be up to date and must be current within the last 12 months. Please bring your horse's passport with you.
