The link below contains all the information you need on how to create a floorplan, the required movements per level and the time required. https://www.britishdressage.co.uk/competing/championships-and-qualifiers/dressage-to-music/
Dressage to Music includes individual and pairs competitions. DTM tests will be in a 20x60m arena, indoors. Competitors do not need to be BD members to compete in BRC DTM. BRC now hold PLC Music License. Competitors do not need to request stickers from BD or BRC. You can use any music from the record labels listed on the Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) repertoire list. Music that is not on the list can still be used but cannot be used alongside PPL listed music. It is the rider's responsibility to ensure that the music they are using is correctly licensed before competing.
All music in CD format is to be handed in to the secretary at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled time of the test.
Entries close for all classes on 11th January, although it'd be really helpful if you dont leave it to the last minute, so we can organise our teams. As we are running the competition, we may be able to accomodate some late entries, or have some reserve/substitution spaces after this date, so please do contact Sophie, your team manager, or email miltonkeynesridingclub@gmail.com if you would like to enter after the closing date.
Hats must have a Pink BRC/BE/PC hat tag. Please note that the PINK Horse-Events Hat Tags will NOT be accepted. There will be a trained official available on the day to check & tag your hat for you if it meets the required standard. Check the BRC 2025 Rulebook for required standards - there is a link to the Rule Book from the MKRC website, Competitions page.
Flu vaccinations must be up-to-date. Vaccination history must be produced for checking. Your horse must not have been vaccinated in the 7 days prior to competing.
The Dressage and dressage To Music championships is at Arena UK, 24-26th April 2026, depending upon which test you qualify for.
