Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2017 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6. Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). The organisers or Proprietors will not accept any liability for any accident, damage or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators or other persons or their property whatsoever and howsoever caused. It shall be a condition of entry that each entrant shall indemnify the organisers and their respective officials, servants, representatives and agents against any legal action or claim arising in connection with the event.

For safety reasons we ask that horses are not left unattended unless securely boxed and must not be tethered outside. Please park sensibly and keep the entrance gates closed, irrespective of whether they were already open .

All dogs, if attending, must be kept on a lead on the showground at all times
NO BICYCLES to be ridden on showground
It is the responsibility of all participants to clear up their rubbish. Please use the muck bin on the lorry park and clear up your spilt hay and droppings around your vehicles and place in the muck bins provided. Please take home any rubbish.

Please respect this and ensure the show ground is kept tidy

All ridden horses and ponies must be 4 years of age or over. Protective headgear, properly secured must be worn at all times when mounted. Hats marked EN1384, PAS015, ASTM F1163, BSEN14572:2005 or SEI. American standard SNELL E2001, ASTM95, SNZ3838 1998. Skullcap hats must be worn with a silk. All competitors must wear correct riding dress.

Competitors about to compete will be given priority in the warm up .
