PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ENTER. General information: On Monday, 21st July, all competitors will be sent an 'AF information sheet' via email. You will need to please make sure your MRL account is linked to your present email address to receive this, and we would suggest you also check your spam / junk email folders on this day. For ongoing updates relating to the AFs, please subscribe to our Facebook page 'Brook Farm TC Events' No lungeing. Dogs on leads. Tests and warm-up in outdoor arena. Please email dressage@brookfarmtc.co.uk or call / message Sam on 07974 225005 with any questions Entries: Late entries from 18/7/25 - midnight on 20/7/25 at £3 extra per class if space. You should please enter this event promptly as last year as BD will not allow us to accept any entries beyond 20/7/25. If you are travelling with another competitor or competing 2 horses on the same day, you MUST please highlight this in the 'class notes' (not 'event notes') section of your entry. BD rule 63 applies to this event insofar as that the starting order for this competition will be drawn; what we are not able to do is change a rider's position in the class for any other reason than travelling arrangments with another competitor or riding multiple horses on the same day. 'Early' or 'late' time preferences cannot be taken into account. Times: Times will be posted on the Brook Farm website hopefully by 2pm on Tuesday, 29th July (perhaps earlier). We are not able to post times until we get the go-ahead from BD - please be patient in this respect! Commentator notes: We have made the commentator notes compulsory for the Area Festival as - to add to the atmosphere of this special event - we would like to have our commentator say a few words about each rider and horse as they ride around the outside of the arena. Your notes can be as simple as how long you have owned your horse and whether this is your first Area Festival at this level etc, and it would be helpful if you could please write these in the 3rd person: that is, instead of 'I have owned my horse for 3 years and this is our first Area Festival' write '[rider name] has owned her horse for 3 years and this is their first Area Festival'. Please check any existing commentator notes are up-to-date and do not relate to another competition. If you do not want to add any notes, please write n/a in this section.
