                                                                                                  Solihull Riding Club Adult Camp with Sally Baker & Jane Richmond

May 31st – 2nd June 2024

£200pp, 20 places available.

Designed for adult riders, these camps are suitable for all levels of ability, whether you ride for fun or compete.

Includes: coaching, activities, breakfast/lunch/dinner, stabling and bedding.

Friday 31st May

Arrive by 11am and settle into stables.

Meet and greet Sally and Jane with a light lunch in the café.

Flat work and pole session to begin the weekend.

Weighbridge and feeding advice.

Dinner together in the café in the evening.

Evening unmounted biomechanics session and rider fitness with Hannah Irons - Riding Instructor, Confidence Coach and Biomechanics Trainer 

 

Saturday 1st June

Continental breakfast before 09:30am.

Show jumping session with Jane Richmond in the morning.

Yoga/Pilates session in the morning.

Lunch upstairs in the café.

Afternoon spent out on the cross-country course/training field.

Dinner in the café.

Evening demonstration workshop with Silvolutions Hypnotherapy

 

Sunday 2nd June

Cooked breakfast

Morning group session with Jane Richmond OR optional hack around our grounds.

Departure in the afternoon 

 

 

 

You must state in your entry comments your riding ability / jumping height / dressage level / working towards.

You will be grouped on ability and into reasonable size groups.

Activities are subject to change but there will be alterative options available in their place.

1x shavings bag will be included. Any additional shavings will need to be purchased prior to your arrival.

No hay will be included. You need to bring your own water buckets and mucking out utensils.

You are responsible for looking after your horse at all times.

These prices are FIXED prices and there cannot be substitutions or reductions if you chose not to have the meals/activities/ provided.

Refunds: No refunds or transfers will given unless you are able to provide a medical/vet note. 

Terms & Conditions

HATS must be worn whenever mounted
ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats.
BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.
CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. ALL horses and ponies must be 4 years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4 years old and over.
ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.
INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
