Qualifying Criteria for Unaffiliated Dressage Competitions from 1st September 2023 – 8th May 2024
Qualification is awarded to the top 2 horse/rider combinations in a class providing they have achieved a score of 64% or more.
Restrictions for horses that are or have been registered to British Dressage
- Introductory qualification: Not to be registered with British Dressage at time of qualification
- Preliminary qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Novice or above at time of qualification
- Novice qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Elementary or above at time of qualification
- Elementary qualification: Not to have won more than 20 BD points at Medium or above at time of qualification
In the event that you have gained qualification in more than one different section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championship Classes.
Winning combinations of championship classes in 2023 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower level championship class in 2024.
Entries must be received by 10th May 2024.
Unaffiliated Dressage Rules and Conditions
To be run in accordance with British Dressage Rules
• Class sizes may be limited and entries may close earlier if full.
• Please leave an A5 SAE with the Secretary for return of dressage sheets.
• All horses and ponies must be four years old and over.
• All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard.
• Start times will be given on the Thursday prior to the event, between 2PM-5PM. Acces to this will be through the Hartpury Equine Events website or my riding life.
• Hartpury Equine has a number of indoor and outdoor arenas which will be used for these competitions.
• Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended. Please clear up any mess left by you or your horses in the bins and muck trailers provided
