Show Information

Closing date: The Friday one week prior to the show. Entries may close early if our maximum number of entries is reached. 
Late entries: £5 extra per horse/class, if space permits.

Sections:
Professional and amateur sections will be run in each class. In the spirit of the competition, if you consider yourself a professional rider (paid to ride or train other people’s horses) or are a BD Gold rider it would be appreciated if you would enter the professional section. Where no section is specified on the entry form riders will automatically be placed in the professional section. Sections cannot be changed once a class has commenced.

Weather: All tests and arenas are subject to change due to weather conditions. Changes will be posted on our website www.wellingtonriding.co.uk/events/events-calendar/

Arrival: Whilst the secretary’s office will be open on the day, competitors are required to bring their own bridle number discs N.B. there should be one disc on each side of either the bridle or saddle cloth. Bridle numbers will be published online alongside times prior to the event. 

Payment Details & Event Fees

Payment is secure and it goes directly Wellington Riding.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry fee: £24 per horse per class. (fees inc VAT)

Prize Information

Prizes: Rosettes to 6th place in Amateur section and 2nd place in professional section in line with British Dressage recommendations. ( if numbers within the class allow)

Withdrawals/Refunds

In line with BD rule 62.b withdrawals received before close of entries can have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds will be given. Transfers can only be offered if withdrawals are received in writing before the close of entries. A transfer voucher code will be issued for the value of the class withdrawn, this is valid for 4 months from the date of the original show. This can be redeemed when booking through my riding life. This must be taken as a whole sum; any difference in fees must be paid for.

Rules and Regulations
Special consideration when allocating times will be given to juniors at school/college if informed. If you have any requests for times this needs to be made clear on entry.
1. These shows will be run under current British Dressage rules.

2. Tests are from the current BD series and are available from BD on 02476 698830.

3. The organisers reserve the right to alter classes, cancel any show and refuse any entry without explanation.

4. No entry will be accepted without the correct entry fee.

5. No refunds after close of entries. Refunds before close of entries 50% of entry fee or a credit voucher for the value of the class entry fee.

6. Entries may be limited and a waiting list will be kept.

7. In the interests of health and safety, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and stewards including conduct in working in & viewing areas.

8. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that the organisers, the land-owner and his agents shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage to competitors, on-lookers, their property, servants, or horses or ponies, how so ever caused and that each entrant agrees to indemnify them against any legal action arising there from.

9. Flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile telephones must be turned off during tests.

10. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on site.

11. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

12 Horse should not be left unattended in the lorry park.
