Suitable for Novice, New and Developing Horse and Rider combinations. You arrive on Saturday morning in time for your morning session. There is a morning and afternoon sessions scheduled on each day. Stabling is available, or small individual turnout paddocks. Riders may choose to camp, or use trailers or horseboxes for overnight accommodation, or if you need to go home at night, we can check and feed your horse. Each stable will have a straw bed, or mats and a bale of shavings. Additional bedding can be supplied at a cost of £4 per bale of straw or £11 per bag of shavings. This can be paid on arrival by cash or cheque to Jane Hurford-Dawson. Riders will need to bring their own hay, feed, water bucket and mucking out equipment. If using paddocks, riders will need to bring their own poo picking kit, water buckets and electric fencing for corrals. There is a toilet and shower in the yard that campers can use. Riders need to choose which morning and afternoon sessions they wish to attend. An up to date itinary will be sent to participants nearer the time. Please note that the programme may change slightly to accommodate people’s bookings.
Payment Details & Event Fees
The cost is £150 and will be strictly limited to 14 places and allocated on a first come first served basis. Payment of the full amount secures your place. The closing date is Friday 3rd May. This event is intended foe KRC members only. If space becomes available non members may be allowed to attend on proof of insurance and at an additional cost of £15 (£165 total). Payment and booking is via KRC’s on line booking system. Anyone experiencing problems booking online please contact Jane Dawson or Nerys Baker.
Please note that to book on to the Camp you enter Class 1, Class 2 is the waiting list, only enter this if the Camp is full (entries closed) and you want to fill a space if one becomes avaliable.

We provide Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch. Please highlight any dietary requirements; are you vegetarian, vegan, non dairy, non gluten, non egg. etc...?
If you have to withdraw after the closing date, monies will be retained by the Club unless the space can be filled by another member. This is to ensure that the venue and trainers costs of running this camp are met.
Please refer to the Keysoe Riding Club website for full Terms & Conditions. All riders must confirm to BRC hat standards. Similarly, if wearing a body protector for any of the classes it should confirm to current BRC standards. All horses must travel with their passport. BRC recommends 6 monthly flu vaccinations. At the very minimum all horses attending this camp must have up to date annual flu vaccinations.
