Rules
· The competition will be run according to BRC rules 2024 but with a RELAXED DRESS CODE, riders may wear whatever they feel comfortable in, but riding hats must be worn at all times when mounted. There is also no need to plait your horses, but you may still do so if you wish.
· To ensure the smooth running of this event, please be ready to start your test on time.
· No lunging anywhere on site.
· The judges will try their best to be friendly, encouraging and patient in this relaxed competition environment. HOWEVER, their decision is final. Arguing will not be tolerated.
· Flu vaccinations must comply with the 2024 BRC policy – currently annual vaccinations.
· Protective headwear for all classes must comply with BRC rules 2024.
· Dogs must be always kept on a short lead and not left unattended. Anyone in breach of this rule will be asked to leave the showground.
● The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and shall obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
● It is a condition of entry that neither the organisers nor landowners, nor their agents, shall be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to competitors, onlookers, their property, horses or ponies, howsoever caused.
● The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event, alter classes, judges, times or any other published information. In the event of cancellation, a proportion of entry fees will be retained for administration purposes.
● Anti-social behaviour directed at the secretaries, helpers, judges, other competitors, spectators, or Quob/Café staff will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave immediately, potentially banned from future shows and no refunds will be given.
● Aggressive/abusive behaviour toward horses will not be tolerated, excessive use of the whip will incur elimination.
