For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2021 (assigned for the qualifying period) and any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2021 (assigned for the qualifying Period).
Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams).
Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds.
Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 85cm Second Round competition.
British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling applies to this class, in accordance with Rule 102.15. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

• British Novice:
Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.
b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2017 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6
Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings
for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.
If combined with an open:
In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.
In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 314.6.
b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2016 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6.
Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.
Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.
If combined with an open:

• Newcomers:
(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6
(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2015, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6.
Three double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for the 2022 second rounds is 1 May '21 – 30 April '22 (subject to revision).
If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.
• 1.10m Open:
For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.
• All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only.

Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination.
Note: 1.15m Members Cup Qualifiers are permitted to be combined with Opens. In the event of 30 or more starters, the class will be split and two sets of prize money will be awarded.

For registered horses in Grades: A, B & C to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance only. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Stourport Riding Centre.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.

Entries for Competitions
All entries are to be made online via our website. We will not be accepting any entries on the day for
any of our competitions.
Any changes to your entry must be made before the close of entries. Refunds for withdrawals can
only be honoured before the close of entries.
Times for the Competition will be available on our website.
Competitors
If you or any member of your household is feeling ill or showing any signs of Covid-19 please do not
attend the centre.
Riders may be supported by ONE other person. ONE additional person is admissible for every
additional horse entered.
Travel to the centre should be done alone, or with a member of the same household. Please ensure
that you regularly clean your vehicle to maintain sufficient hygiene standards.
Riders under 18yrs are limited to one additional supporting parent/guardian per child.
Providers of commercial transport must remain within the vehicle and take no part in the equestrian
activity.
Only the riders and permitted supporters can attend. The general public, friends and other family
members are not permitted.
Arrival At The Centre
Please park ensuring sufficient space between vehicles. This is to allow social distancing to be
adhered to.
Whilst hand sanitiser will be sited around the centre, we ask that you bring your own sanitising
solutions to be used regularly. The sharing of tack or equipment is prohibited between competitors.
The Café will be open during the competitions. Social Distancing must be adhered to at all times.
Social Distancing and Hygiene
Social distancing of 2 metres must always be adhered to.
We recommend that face masks are used.
Tacking up is to take place within the lorry park.
Dogs are not permitted on the site.
Please bring your own water for your horse.
Warming-up and Competing.
You are only permitted to warm-up 40 minutes (For Dressage) and 15 Minutes (For Show Jumping
and Showing) before your competition time. Please do not come to the warm-up arena early. If you
do, we will have to turn you away.
Your helper may watch from the outside of the warm-up or the Indoor Arena. They are not
permitted to enter the outdoor arena.
Please return directly to your vehicle after your test, round or class.
Results appear live on our website. When you have finished your last test, we politely ask you to
vacate the centre as soon as it is safe to do so. This is purely to ensure the number of people on site
is kept to a minimum.
Please leave a self-addressed envelope so we can post your sheets back to you. Please add sufficient
postage to include a rosette. We will only hold your sheet for a maximum of one week after the
show.
Prize money will be paid electronically where applicable.
