KEY BOOKING TERMS:
This event is affiliated to the British Showjumping Association and its rules apply to the competition offered and bind all parties. The schedule on the online entry system is an abbreviated version of the official BS schedule. Please refer to the official BS schedule available on the BS website - it is the rider (and BS registered guardian of junior rider) and the horse/pony owner who are responsible for ensuring eligibility for any class entered.
ENTRY MUST BE VIA THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM ACCESSED VIA www.southviewarena.com, OR VIA www.myridinglife.co.uk. PRE-ENTRY IS REQUIRED AND PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN FULL WITH ENTRY.
ALL CLASSES WILL RUN TO A PRE-DRAWN ORDER AND SUBJECT TO COVID PROTOCOLS AS APPLICABLE. DRAWS WILL BE MADE AND PUBLISHED ON THE www.southviewarena.com WEBSITE IN THE EVENING OF THE DAY TWO DAYS BEFORE THE SHOW DAY.
PLEASE NOTE THAT 'ADDING' CLASSES AT THE EVENT ITSELF IS MOST OFTEN NOT POSSIBLE.
A LATE ENTRY FEE OF £2 APPLIES TO ANY CLASS ENTRY SUBMITTED AFTER THE STATED 'CLOSING DATE' WHICH FOR THIS EVENT IS 15/6/2021.
ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE SHOW DAY IS FULL, WHICH MAY BE BEFORE OR AFTER THE STATED 'CLOSING DATE'.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation or withdrawal requests must be by the original booking party BY EMAIL using the email address of the original booking transaction(s) and must be sent to office@southviewarena.com.
We do not at any stage need to be informed of your reason for withdrawal/cancellation and vet’s certificates / medical certificates are NOT required. (saving the specific Covid 19 stipulations as detailed below.)
CANCELLATION OF CLASS ENTRY - UP UNTIL THE STATED CLOSING DATE (WHICH FOR THIS EVENT IS MIDNIGHT of TUESDAY 15/6/2021) YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR ENTRIES AND YOU WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS THE FOLLOWING SUMS: THE £1.50 ONLINE BOOKING FEE AS CHARGED AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM PROVIDERS, THE COMMISSION/FEES AS CHARGED AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE PAYMENT HANDLING OPERATORS (CURRRENTLY PAYPAL), AND A £5 CANCELLATION ADMIN FEE APPLICABLE TO EACH AND EVERY SEPARATE BOOKING OR SEPARATE CANCELLATION REQUESTED.
After this cut-off date : a 50% refund of entry fee plus relevant first aid charges will be allowed if the cancellation is made BY EMAIL as above, prior to NOON OF THE DAY WHICH IS TWO DAYS prior to the day of the class to be cancelled. Thereafter NO REFUND will be payable on cancellation/withdrawal of entries regardless of circumstance, saving the specific Covid 19 stipulations as detailed with the schedule on www.southviewarena.com.
TRANSFER OF CLASSES MIGHT be possible within the same event provided that drawn orders have not been published and that space exists in the class required. Transfer should be requested by email by the booking party to office@southviewarena.com. Where the entry fee of the class requested is greater, this sum must be paid with request plus £2 late/admin fee.
TRANSFER OF AN ENTRY TO A DIFFERENT EVENT may be possible, provided the event is not full, and provided the request to transfer is made by email by the booking party, clearly stating all from-to class requirements BEFORE the stated cut off / closing date of the show being transferred from.
If a change of horse/pony and/or rider is involved in any accepted transfer request, an administration fee of £5 per transaction will be payable. Entries in any event MAY NOT be transferred privately.
CANCELLATION OF STABLES/HOOKUP - for larger events a separate and earlier closing date will be stated as regards stabling and hookup which will be AT LEAST one week prior to the entries closing date stipulated. This is to permit the physical erection of non-permanent stabling as might be required to occur.
Cancellations of stabling etc prior to the stated closing date (which for this event is the same as the entry closing date i.e., 15/6/2021) will be refunded exactly as stipulated for entry cancellation. After the closing date, NO REFUND WILL BE DUE regardless of circumstance. Stabling MAY NOT be booked for others and MAY NOT be transferred to other parties. Stabling MAY NOT be used for any purpose other than to house a horse/pony actually competing at the show in question during the opening period permitted for that show. ('duration' stabling begins from 4 pm of the day before the first day of the show and may extend until 9:30 am of the morning following the last day of the show.)
ALL RE-PAYMENTS DUE including REFUNDS due under the cancellation terms and PRIZE MONIES won, will be paid to the original booking party by means of a refund processed against the original booking via the online payment processing platform. This will be completed within 28 days of the last day of the event, or within 28 days of cancellation of the event, should that occur. These payments will be annotated with the date of the event concerned and 'REFUND' or 'PRIZE' as appropriate.
Prize money is paid out automatically - it is not necessary to make a claim for this. If you have won more than your original booking transaction sum, we will communicate by email with evidence of your booking in order to agree an alternative payment method.
