Payment is secure and it goes directly to Elstead Riding Club.

Entry Fee: £12.00 per class (£9.00 ERC Members) + £3 per competitor towards first aid

RULES AND OTHER INFORMATION:
We are looking forward to welcoming you to this event. Due to the requirements placed on us in relation to reducing the risk of Covid-19 infections, please note the points below.
Spectators – only one person per competitor unless more than one junior (under 18 years) from the same family in which case an additional one adult helper per junior is allowed.
Times will be available via MyRidingLife / www.elsteadridingclub.co.uk – please note these and ensure you arrive at your arena ready for your allocated time. Competitor Numbers are shown on the list of times. Please bring your own number – this can be shown on the bridle or saddlecloth, or on your back.
Parking – horseboxes/trailers must park 5 metres apart and only tie up horses on one side, or 10m apart if tying up on both sides. Secretary’s office – there is no need to report to the secretary on arrival. Strictly no admission to the secretary’s office apart from authorised officials. SJ Course Walks will be open for longer than usual but will be limited to 6 people at any one time.
Warming up – please spread yourselves out and note that we will only allow a maximum of 5 horses in the SJ warm up at any one time. No spectators allowed in the warm up. For the SJ classes there will be a steward in the warm up arena who will be responsible for putting poles up/down.
Prize giving - no mounted presentations. Please collect your rosette from the ring steward.

Other Covid-19 precautions and rules
• You must not attend this event if you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms, however mild. Anyone who has been in contact with someone that is showing symptoms should stay at home. Anyone considered vulnerable should stay at home. You should check your temperature before leaving home. • Please bring your own sanitizer and use when opening/closing the field gate. • The toilets should not be used unless in case of urgent need, in which case you must sanitize the toilet before and after use (including door handles). • You should ideally have someone with you on foot (but not more than one person per rider/horse combination). However one extra person allowed per junior or disabled rider. • If attending on your own, please note this when booking and include an emergency contact name and telephone number, as well as your vehicle details. • Stewards instructions must be followed. Stewards will not hold horses or take clothing.
Please note there is no water supply at the club field – you should bring water with you.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. All events will be run in accordance with the current British Riding Clubs Rule Book. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure that they comply with all BRC rules which can be found on the BRC website: http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook 2. A ‘Riding Hat’, designed to provide protection and with a three point harness properly adjusted and fitted, must be worn at all times when mounted by anyone, whether or not a competitor, at all Elstead Riding Club events/competitions, including exercising, warming up and competing. Failure to do so may incur elimination. The British Riding Clubs standard for protective headgear can be found at: http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook competitors are responsible for ensuring their hat meets the required standard 3. The decision of the Judge is final 4. Any objection must be made in writing within 30 minutes of the incident, accompanied by a deposit of £20 which will be refunded if the objection is sustained 5. Neither the organisers nor the Hampton Estate accept liability for any claims in respect of injury or damage to any person, animal or property, however caused 6. The organisers reserve the right to amend the schedule as necessary 7. The organisers reserve the right to reject or cancel any entry made by any person or cancel any class (refunding any fees paid less £4 per competitor to cover administrative expenses) 8. No entries will be refunded except in the case of injury/illness of horse/rider where evidence of this is supplied e.g. letter/invoice from vet, medical certificate, etc. 9. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times whilst in the Club Field. 10. All competitors must wear the correct riding clothes whilst competing and exercising at competitions 11. Stewards instructions must be followed 12. Misuse of whips or spurs will incur elimination. Blatant use of bad language may result in the competitor being eliminated and/or barred from further competitions 13. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 14. Horses must be kept to a walk unless in the warm-up or competition arenas 15. The organisers reserve the right to eliminate any competitor who, in their opinion, places him/herself or others in any danger or who fails to observe the rules in this schedule 16. Horses who are not competing are not allowed on the show ground without prior permission from the show secretary 17. All competitors and/or owners, must have their own insurance which includes suitable public liability cover.

HEALTH & SAFETY
The event is organised in accordance with health and safety legislation and all who have, to any extent, control of the site on which this event is run are responsible for ensuring that everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure health, safety and welfare of those attending the event. The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective please take all reasonable precautions to avoid accidents, and obey the instructions of all Stewards and Officials.
