KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM OTHERS AT ALL TIMES!! The purpose of the event is to participate in competitive affiliated showjumping - it is not a meeting place in which to socialise. All attendees must abide by all rules at all times. Anyone deemed to be breaking any rule will be required to immediately leave the showground. (No refunds will be payable.)

NO CAR ENTRY AND NO SPECTATORS ALLOWED.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN PROTECTIVE GLOVES AND MASKS & WEAR THESE AT ALL TIMES IN COVERED OR INDOOR SPACES, OR IN AREAS OF CLOSER CONTACT AND DURING THE COURSE WALK . Sanitiser is available at the venue

Riders are permitted groom assistance at strict maximum of 1 per horse competing. One responsible adult may also accompany a junior rider.  FULL NAMES OF ALL PROPOSED ATTENDEES MUST BE LISTED WHERE REQUESTED WITH THE ONLINE ENTRY AND MUST ARRIVE WITH THE RIDER AND HORSES IN THE HORSEBOX. ASSISTANTS MAY NOT ENTER THE WARM UP ARENA. PERSONS NOT LISTED WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.

Note Warm up time -  is strictly allocated in groups of five maximum.   If you are not happy to warm up in the minimum period that can be allowed (10 -15 minutes dependant on volume of entries) PLEASE DO NOT ENTER as no alternative is possible.

PLEASE ENTER IN GOOD TIME - A LATE ENTRY FEE OF £2 PER CLASS WILL BE APPLIED FROM MIDNIGHT ON 15/12/2020.

ENTRY FOR EACH SHOW DAY WILL CLOSE WHEN AT FULL COVID-19 RESTRICTED CAPACITY 

Start times will be published PER COMBINATION / PER CLASS ENTRY and will appear in the drawn order which will be displayed on the website by c.20:00 HOURS 2 days prior to each show day

*** There will be a precise Warm up time period allocated and a precise Competitive round start time. *** 

Participants must present to warm up and to the competition ring at their alloted times unless these have been officially amended   ** Please ensure that we have your correct mobile number and check this for texts and Facebook page for any hold ups meaning that alterations to time are necessary on the day (e.g. in case of a prior competitor fall in the ring)

AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO ALL ENTRANTS THE DAY PRIOR TO THE SHOW - PLEASE READ THIS FOR LATEST COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES WHICH MUST BE STRICTLY OBEYED AT THE EVENT.

IT IS THE HORSE OWNER & RIDER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ELIGIBILITY FOR ANY CLASS.
PLEASE BE SURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT SECTION ON DUAL SECTION CLASSES – SECTION CANNOT BE AMENDED AFTER JUDGING HAS COMMENCED.

Payment Details & Event Fees

 Payment must be made in full with your booking and must be via the online booking system, which will accept debit or credit card or Paypal account.

DAY STABLES AVAILABLE £15 PERMANENT SHOW BOX WITH PRE-USED SHAVINGS BED, INC. VAT. MUST BE PRE-BOOKED/PRE-PAID.

 

Prize Information

FOR ALL CLASSES  IN THE EVENT OF INSUFFICIENT ENTRIES LOWER PRIZES WILL BE WITHHELD - rule 76.6

Rosettes will be availble to collect from the collecting ring steward. If you prefer you may leave a large stamped addressed envelope upon which we will send a rosette out to you.

Results will be published on the website on the day but will be subject to British Showjumping show office verification..

Prize money will be repaid to the original booking account/original payment means EXCEPT where monies won exceeds entry payments made - we will need your bank info to be able to pay prize money to you in that instance. 

All refunds including for prize money will be executed within 28 days of the event.

Refreshments:

Refreshments will be Take Away from the cafe only. Please observe Covid-19 distancing rules on queing and one way entry/exit route. Masks or face covering must be worn at service counter.

Toilets will be open - but -  PLEASE USE YOUR OWN  HORSE BOX FACILITIES IF YOU CAN. 

Withdrawals/Refunds
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation or withdrawal requests must be by the original booking party using the email address of the original booking transaction(s)  and must be sent to office@southviewarena.com.

UP UNTIL THE STATED CLOSING DATE (WHICH FOR THIS EVENT IS 15/12/20) YOU MAY CANCEL YOUR BOOKING AND YOU WILL BE REFUNDED MINUS THE FOLLOWING SUMS: THE £1.50 ONLINE BOOKING FEE AS CHARGED AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM PROVIDERS, THE COMMISSION/FEES AS CHARGED  AND ALWAYS RETAINED BY THE PAYMENT HANDLING OPERATORS (CURRRENTLY PAYPAL), AND A £5 CANCELLATION ADMIN FEE APPLICABLE PER SEPARATE BOOKING/PER SEPARATE CANCELLATION REQUESTED.

After this date stabling and hookup is non-refundable and normal BS rules apply with regard to withdrawal of entries i.e. a 50% refund of entry fee plus relevant first aid charges will be allowed if the cancellation is made BY EMAIL to office@southviewarena.com,  prior to noon of the day which is 2 days before  the show day concerned (I.E. PRIOR TO NOON OF FRIDAY DECEMBER 18th). Thereafter NO REFUND will be payable on withdrawal regardless of circumstance. 

We do not at any stage need to be informed of your reason for withdrawal/cancellation and  vets certificates / medical certificates are NOT required.

Should the event have to be completely cancelled due to a change in Government Regulations, or your attendance be compromised by such regulations (e.g. area lock-down and your movement forbidden by law) then the online booking fee of £1.50, which is taken by the system providers and the Payment Processor's fees which we are also 100% unable to recover, will be deducted from the booking transaction sum and the balance refunded to you. There will be no cancellation administration fee levied in these circumstances.
 
PLEASE CHECK THAT YOU HAVE ONLY ONE MRL ACCOUNT SET UP AND WITHIN THAT ONLY ONE RECORD PER RIDER/PER HORSE DEFINED ON THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM, BEFORE SUBMITTING ENTRIES. DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS, OR DUPLICATE RECORDS WITHIN AN ACCOUNT, CAUSE EXTRA ADMINISTRATION WORK FOR THE SHOW AND WILL POTENTIALLY RESULT IN EXTRA FIRST AID CHARGES BEING LEVIED BY THE SYSTEM WHICH MEASURES BY MRL NUMBERS. WHERE SUCH CHARGES ARE A RESULT OF YOUR HAVING SET UP DUPLICATE RECORDS IN YOUR MRL ACCOUNT, OR DUPLICATE ACCOUNTS, THESE AMOUNTS WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
 
All refund payments, which includes prize monies, will be paid via the booking system payment handling provider within 28 days of the last day of the event.
