Rule 316. DRAWN ORDER Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6. Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members a) For horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2017 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6. Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jumpoff, in at least four British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded. In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters.

Rule 314. DRAWN ORDER In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered horses in grade C which have not won a total of 225 points, (unless Age Rule applies), to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. The first 8 horses qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Nupafeed Supplements Discovery second round. (Age rule applies) Please note that in accordance with the amendment to BS Rule 314 all 5yr old horses are now eligible regardless of points won, but to qualify the horse must be 5yrs old in the year of the Final ie 2021. Therefore any horses which are 5yrs old from 1st October 2020 to 31st December 2020 and have won more than 225 points are unable to qualify in any qualifiers held from 1st October 2020 to 31st December 2020. Qualification does not pass down the line. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Rule - 76.6 • Newcomers: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2014, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2020/2021 (2021 second rounds and finals) is 1 May – 30 April (subject to revision). Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: The Senior Foxhunter Second Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. All shows are being run strictly following BS covid rules. There will be 2 warm up areas, a pre warm up for flat work only, followed by main warm up indoors which will be manned by our steward doing practice fences. All classes are drawn order, please jump in correct order , if you miss your turn , you may not be able to jump at the judges discretion. There will be an in gate to the arena and a separate out gate. We are running with the ‘No spectator rule’, only 1 attendant allowed per horse entered with the exception that riders under the age of 18 are permitted 2 attendants.
Please park sensibly, at least 3m apart and refrain from leaving horses unattended tied to your lorry. No cars except officials allowed in horse box park, please use lower car park.
Track and trace is in operation and you will be asked to provide details of your attendant/s when you enter.
The café will be open offering a more limited menu on a take away basis only.
Our stewards are there to help the day go smoothly and keep you safe, not confrontation.
Any abuse aimed at our team on duty will result in those concerned being asked to leave the showground.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to IB Equestrian Services.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Covid/ First Aid Fee: £6 per rider.

Prize Information
All prize money will be paid electronically to the card that the entry was made on. Where prize money exceeds the card payment amount, you will be contacted by email for your bank details to enable a BACS payment to be made.

Withdrawals/Refunds
Refunds for online bookings for BS shows will only be made if withdrawals are made by email to ian@ibequestriansrvices.co.uk up till 7 days before the booked date and will be subject to an admin charge of £5. Withdrawals made after the 7 day period can be transferred to a later BS show run by IB Equestrian services but will not receive refunds or be transferred after drawn order is published, which is normally 48 hours in advance of show date. Refunds will not include the booking fee which is paid to our online entry agents .All communications must be made via email, not social media or text messages. Any shows cancelled through no fault of our own will receive full refunds less the booking fee.
