Starting Times:

Competitors will be issued jumping times, and are asked not to arrive more than 45 minutes before their time and should leave after competing. 

There will be two separate warm up area's. Competitors will be called through to the "Jumping warm up" approx 5 mins before their time, with a max of 5 other horses. There will be a suitably qualified instructor in the warm up to adjust warm up fences.   Please ensure that you are ready to enter the arena to compete on your time. Late arrivals will not be able to compete and will be Eliminated.

Show Information

This competition will run under British Riding Club Rules. It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition – please see the current BRC Handbook and also the BRC Rule Amendments and Changes Document which can be found at the link below: http://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs/brc-handbook

Dress: Hard Hats, Body Protectors and Medical Armbands must be worn. Competitors should wear KRC XC baselayer & hat silk.  Hats will need to comply with BRC rules, and must have a visable Aqua BRC tag (hats can be tagged on the day).  Body Protectors are Obligatory and must meet the standard requirement.  Medical Armbands should be worn on the arm and not the leg. 

Numbers:Please print your own number. 3 copies (Front bib. Back bib. Vehicle window screen)

Parking: Please park in designated parking area 5m apart.

Spectators: This is a closed event, no spectators.  1 rider + 1 helper (junior or disabled +2).  No helpers in the warm up - steward only.  If Possible, please give the details of your +1 in the notes

Vaccinations  & Passports: 6 monthly vaccinations as per rule G7 of the handbook.  Please supply a copy of your passport & vaccination history to krcsteph@gmail.com this will then be updated on the Area 7 Flu Vac database.   It is a legal requirement that horses and ponies travel with their correct passports, passports may be inspected at this event. 

Secretary: Only the team manager should enter the secreatrys area.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries in advance only. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Keysoe Riding Club.  You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Prize Information

There will be no scoreboard. All scores will be updated at frequent intervals on canddrc.org.uk website.

There will not be an official prize giving,  rosettes to 6th place may be available on the night

Points LeagueKRC Members Points League awarded according class entries.  This includes BRC Grassroots and RoR League

 

Terms & Conditions
  1. All classes run under British Riding Club rules.
  2. The organisers and land owners will not hold themselves responsible for any incident or injury to riders, owners, and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever, however caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such incident.
  3. Competitors must wear correct dress and hard hats complying with the BRC rules at all times when riding. Tack is the riders responsibility to ensure they comply with the BRC rules and riders will not compete if not complying.
  4. The decisions of the judges and/or organisers are final. Any objection must be made to the show secretary in writing before 1300 on 19 Oct 2020, accompanied by a deposit of £10 which may be refunded.

Anyone displaying, or who has been in contact with someone displaying Covid-19 symptoms however mild should stay at home. Check your temperature before leaving home.

Disqualifation: By entering you are agreeing to abide by the rules.  Anyone who does not comply with the event request will be disqualified and asked to leave the site immediately.  Any BRC members who do not comply shall also be reported to BRC for further disciplinary action
