2 Bridle or saddle pad numbers required as per BD Rule Change 1st December 2017
Please declare on day of competition at BFEC to the steward for test locations.
No dogs allowed, other than in Lorry Park and MUST be on a lead.
All unaffiliated shows are run within the spirit of BD rules

The Bury Farm team looks forward to welcoming competitors back to the centre. As the health and safety of all visitors is paramount please ensure that you have read the below information as you will be asked to comply with these guidelines during the course of your visit. Bury Farm reserves the right to ask competitors to leave the centre if any of the below guidelines are breached.
Entries and Times
Entries for Bury Farm shows must be made online via the event link on the Events Tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk. . Entries will not be accepted after the closing date unless space allows.
Competitors will be required to provide the following information with their entry:
Name of Horse
Name of Rider
Classes entered
Name of one additional person per horse attending the centre on the day of the competition
Horsebox Registration number
Horsebox size in tonnes
Payment details - all entries must be paid for online in advance of the show
Competitors will also be asked to agree that they comply with Covid guidelines which have been set up at the centre for the health and wellbeing of all centre visitors.
Once submitted entries may be changed prior to the times being published by contacting dressage@buryfarmestates.co.uk with the entry changes.
Times will be posted on the event link two days prior to the competition. Please note that under British Dressage Covid guidance the test time has been increased to 10 minutes per test to allow time for judges to compile comments on rider test sheets.
Once the times have been published entries may still be amended but only if a horse and/or rider can be substituted into the class and time on the published schedule.
ENTRIES CANNOT BE CHANGED AT THE VENUE ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION.
Refunds and transfers to future shows will not be issued after times have been published. A transfer of entries may be considered if the competitor emails dressage@buryfarmestates.co.uk prior to the show times being published. Bury Farm will issue refunds for entries in line with British Dressage rules. Bury Farm reserves the right to charge an administration fee for any refund or transfer of entries.
On the day of the competition
Competitors will be met by a member of the team at the entrance to the lorry park. Competitors will need to provide identification upon arrival at the centre. NO PERSON MAY ENTER THE SHOW GROUND IF THEIR DETAILS HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED ON THE ONLINE ENTRY FORM. Competitors will be directed to an allocated parking space. Please note that cars may be parked in a separate part of the show ground to lorries. Sufficient space will be allocated between cars and lorries to maintain correct social distancing measures.
Competitors will be provided with a grassed area in which to start their warm up for their class. They will then be invited to transfer to the outdoor sand arena for further warm up prior to their class time. A maximum of 8 competitors will be allowed in any outdoor warm up space at the centre at any given time. 2 competitors may warm up in each of our small indoor arenas. No member of the public may attend the warm up spaces on foot. A collecting ring steward will call each competitor to the Legacy and the International Indoor Arena at their allotted time. The competitor must enter the arena via the designated entrance as directed by the collecting ring steward. Competitors must head straight back to their lorries after they have cooled off. They may not access any other arena or farm track after their test has finished.
The Bury Farm team can only collect test sheets from a judge at the end of a class. Scores will be added up at the venue after a class has concluded..Results will not be printed and competitors will not be able to view results on Bury Farm noticeboards, neither will competitors be able to collect sheets from the venue on the day of the competition. Results will be verified by a judge and they will be published online via the Bury Farm website show link within 24 hours of the show's completion.
The show organiser, Anne Dingley will be your Covid Compliance Manager on the day of competition. The show mobile will be available for competitors to contact on the day of competition - 07568 395548.
Social distancing measures must be observed throughout the show. Please use hand sanitiser and wash hands regularly during your visit to the centre.
Toilets will be available for use in the International show centre. Disabled visitors should contact the Covid Compliance Manager to ensure that they have full access to toilet facilities during the course of their visit. The Paddocks cafe team will provide a service on the day of competition and will be offering take away food and drink within social distancing parameters. Competitors may not access the livery facilities during their visit to the centre.
CLASS SECTIONS:
Class 1 & 2: INTRO CLASSES
Restricted to non-BD & BE members (excluding BD associate members) who have not been placed 1st or 2nd in a prelim class at Bury Farm (horse and rider combination.) Can be ridden in any preferred tack. BD/BE members may enter the class in the Open Section
Class 3,4, 5 & 6: PRELIM & NOVICE SECTIONS
Restricted Prelim - Restricted to non-BD/BE members (excluding BD associate members) who have not won 3 tests at prelim or above at Bury Farm (horse and rider combination.) Horses and riders must not be fully registered with BD/BS or BE.
Restricted Novice - Restricted to horse and rider combinations who have no points at novice level or above or who have not won 3 tests or more at novice level or above at Bury Farm (horse and rider combination.) Horses and riders must not be fully registered with BD/BS or BE.
Open Prelim and Novice - Open to all including BS/BD and BE members (horse or rider)
***Horse and Rider Combinations that have previously won a BFEC Unaffiliated Dressage Championship class can still compete at the same level but they must compete in the Open section***
Class 7: Open to all
Class 8: All tests are to be long arena 60x20m current BD, BE or PC tests.
