Rule - 76.6 For registered horses to be ridden by Full, Associate or Junior Members excluding any rider listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2019 (assigned for the qualifying period) and any horse/rider combination listed on the British Showjumping Silver League as of 31st March 2019 (assigned for the qualifying Period). Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup/International Team Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible (excluding Veterans and Para Teams). Qualifies for: 85cms National Amateur Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st September-31st August inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horse/rider combinations which jump clear in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least five 85cm National Amateur First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the respective height classes at the National Amateur Championships. Horses which jump clear in the first round followed by a clear round in the jump off, in at least one 85cm National Amateur First Round Competition held in the qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the National Amateur 85cm Second Round competition. Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members a) For horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2016 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6. Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jumpoff, in at least four British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in the British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded. Numbers to qualify: Those horses that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jumpoff, in at least four First Round competitions held in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in the Senior Discovery Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6 (b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2014, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Newcomers Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Qualifies for: Lord & Lady Equestrian Senior Newcomers Second Round. Qualifying period:The Senior NewcomersSecond Round qualifying period for 2019/2020 (2020 second rounds and finals) is 1 June - 31 May inclusive. The Senior Newcomers Second Round qualifying period for 2020/2021 (2021 second rounds and finals) is 1 May – 30 April (subject to revision). Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Lord & Lady Equestrian Senior Newcomers First Round competitions in any qualifying period, will qualify to compete in a Lord & Lady Equestrian Senior Newcomers Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). To obtain a double clear qualification, even if the horse is the only clear round, it must jump a jump-off round and jump clear to gain a double clear round. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Entries Close 2 days before at 2pm
As the health and safety of all visitors is paramount please ensure that you have read the below information as you will be asked to comply with these guidelines during the course of your visit. Bury Farm reserves the right to ask competitors to leave the centre if any of the below guidelines are breached.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries for Bury Farm shows must be made online via the event link on the Events Tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk.
Entries will not be accepted after the closing date unless space allows.
Once submitted entries may be changed prior to the times being published by contacting ashlie@buryfarmestates.co.uk with entry changes.
Once the times have been published entries may still be amended but only if a horse and/or rider can be substituted into the class and time on the published schedule.
ENTRIES CANNOT BE CHANGED AT THE VENUE ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION.

First Aid fee £5.00 per rider

Prize Information

Competitors who win prize money will be contacted via email to obtain their bank account details. Upon receipt of competitor bank details Bury Farm will pay prize money within 7 working days.

Refreshments:

 The Paddocks cafe team will be providing a service that complies with current social distancing guidelines.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds and transfers to future shows will not be issued after times have been published. A transfer of entries may be considered if the competitor emails ashlie@buryfarmestates.co.uk prior to the show times being published. Bury Farm will issue refunds for entries in line with British Showjumping rules. Bury Farm reserves the right to charge an administration fee for any refund or transfer of entries.

Terms & Conditions

On the day of the competition
Competitors will be met by a member of the team at the entrance to the lorry park. Competitors will need to provide identification upon arrival at the centre. NO PERSON MAY ENTER THE SHOW GROUND IF THEIR DETAILS HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED ON THE ONLINE ENTRY FORM. Competitors will be directed to an allocated parking space. Please note that cars may be parked in a separate part of the show ground to lorries. Sufficient space will be allocated between cars and lorries to maintain correct social distancing measures.

Competitors will be provided with a grassed area in which to start their warm up for their class. They will then be invited to transfer to the outdoor sand arena for further warm up prior to their class time. A maximum of 5 competitors will be allowed in any warm up space at the centre at any given time. Only Bury Farm personnel may adjust warm up fences in warm up arenas. No member of the public may attend to warm up fences. A collecting ring steward will call each competitor to the Legacy Arena at their allotted time. The competitor must enter the arena via the designated entrance as directed by the collecting ring steward. The competitor must leave the arena at the top of the Legacy arena via an exit to the left hand side of the commentary box. The exit leads to a designated grass cool down area in which competitors are invited to allow their horses to cool off after their round. Competitors must head straight back to their lorries after they have cooled off. They may not access any other arena or farm track after their class has finished.

Results from each class will be announced by the judge via the arena loudspeaker system after the class has finished. Results will not be printed and competitors will not be able to view results on Bury Farm noticeboards. Results will be published online via the Bury Farm website show link within 24 hours of the show's completion. Results will also be available via the BS website. Competitors who win prize money will be contacted via email to obtain their bank account details. Upon receipt of competitor bank details Bury Farm will pay prize money within 7 working days.

The show organiser, Stuart Reeve Young will be your Covid Compliance Manager on the day of competition. The show mobile will be available for competitors to contact on the day of competition - 07568 395548.

Social distancing measures must be observed throughout the show. Please use hand sanitiser and wash hands regularly during your visit to the centre.

Toilets will be available for use in the International show centre. Gents toilets will be located downstairs, ladies upstairs. Disabled visitors should contact the Covid Compliance Manager to ensure that they have full access to toilet facilities during the course of their visit.

The Paddocks cafe team will provide a service on the day of competition and will be serving take away food and drink within social distancing parameters.

Competitors may not access indoor arenas or the livery facilities during their visit to the centre.

By entering this Show, competitors and helpers agree to comply with all Covid guidelines which have been set up at the centre for the health and well-being of all centre visitors.
