These Championships are not affiliated to British Show Jumping and will all run under Table A7
Winning combinations of championship classes in 2020 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower height championship class in 2021 The use of whip and spurs are permitted for championship classes. Rules as per Unaffiliated Showjumping.

Restrictions for riders that are or have been registered to British Show Jumping criteria:
British Showjumping members are not eligible to compete in Championship 1
British Showjumping members who are in the British Showjumping Gold League are not eligible for these Championships.

All classes are pre- entry and drawn order. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Hartpury University & College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Prize giving may be mounted or un-mounted - please check with the secretary on the day of the event 

Pre Entries that are withdrawn before the drawn orders are published will be carried over. No entries will be carried over or refunded once the drawn orders have been published. 

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued with a valid doctors note or veterinary certificate and subject to a £2.50 admin fee.  

 Criteria for entry:
• To enter the horse/rider combination must have placed 1st- 3rd at a qualifying venue providing they have jumped clear in the first round - they must have been given a qualification card from the organiser on the day of the event
• British Showjumping members are not eligible to compete in Class 1
• British Showjumping members who are in the Gold League are not eligible to compete in any class.
• In the event that you have gained qualification in more than one different height section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championships per rider
• Winning combinations of championship classes in 2020 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower height championship class in 2021.

Showjumping Rules and Conditions:
• To be run in accordance with British Showjumping Rules.
• Daytime showjumping competitions will be run Single phase - except Unaffiliated championships.
No misuse of the whip, equipment or practice fences will be allowed.
• The committee reserves the right to alter, add or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
• All dogs must be kept on leads. • Horses and ponies must be four years old and over.
• The judges’ decision is final.
• All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard.
• Objections must be made, in writing, to the Secretary within one hour of the incident with a £25 deposit. The deposit is forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
• The number of entries may be restricted for each class.
• Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended – please clear up any mess left by you or your horses in the bins and muck trailers provided.
