Except Class 1 all classes are open to all horses and ponies

All classes are pre-entry and drawn order. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Hartpury University & College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Clear Round £5.00.
Entry fee: £10.00 before 3pm on the day of the show -  £12.00 on the night 

Entries will be limited for each class so pre-entry is advised.

Please note there is a £2 per horse charge for qualified first aid cover

There is a £1.50 booking fee per transaction, this is non-refundable.

Prize vouchers: 1st - £12, 2nd - £8, 3rd - £6

Incorporating South West Hartpury Showjumping Championships Qualifiers - 1st - 3rd to qualify depending upon meeting the qualifying criteria 

Pre Entries athat are withdrawn before the drawn orders are published will be carried over. No entries will be carried over after the drawn orders have been published.

Booking fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued with a valid doctors note or veterinary certificate and subject to a £2.50 admin fee.  

EAll horse/rider combinations placed in the top 3 of all height classes will qualify according to the qualifying criteria for the South West Hartpury Championship show on 29th May 2021.

Qualifying Criteria for Showjumping:
• The top 3 horse/rider combinations qualify providing they have jumped clear in the frst round
• British Showjumping members are not eligible to qualify for Class 1
• British Showjumping members who are in the Gold League are not eligible for qualifcation in any class.
• In the event that you have gained qualifcation in more than one different height section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championships per rider
• Winning combinations of championship classes in 2020 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a  lower height championship class in 2021.

Showjumping Rules and Conditions:
• To be run in accordance with British Showjumping Rules.
• Evening showjumping competitions will be run Twophase – all those that jump clear in the frst round will go immediately to the jump off section which will be timed.
• Daytime showjumping competitions will be run Single phase.
• No misuse of the whip, equipment or practice fences will be allowed.
• The committee reserves the right to alter, add or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
• All dogs must be kept on leads.
• Horses and ponies must be four years old and over. 
• The judges’ decision is fnal.
• All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard.
• Objections must be made, in writing, to the Secretary within one hour of the incident with a £25 deposit. The deposit is forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
• The number of entries may be restricted for each class.
• Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended – please clear up any mess left by you or your horses in the bins and muck trailers provided.
