Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification.
If combined with an open:
In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the Discovery section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

Competitors will be permitted to attend any four qualifiers for the Semi-Finals and not restricted to North or South. However for the Semi-Finals members will compete in their appropriate North/South Semi-Final as defined by their registered postal address.
Qualifies for: Bronze League Semi Final at The Horse of the Year Show.
Numbers to qualify:
• First 3 horse/rider combinations, disregarding those that have already qualified will qualify for their designated Bronze League Semi Final.
• Riders may only qualify a maximum of four horses from the direct qualifiers and/or the league tables. Should a rider be in qualifying positions with more than four horses from both the direct qualifiers and the league tables, the rider must select which four horses they wish to take to the Semi-Final and the qualification place will be passed down the line on the league tables. Only one horse per rider is permitted to compete in the Final. Any rider qualified for other Senior HOYS Final/s cannot compete in the Bronze League Final in the same year (once qualified for another Senior HOYS Final, riders will lose their Bronze League Final place, the place will be passed down to the next highest place combination at the Semi-Final).
• Only one horse per rider is permitted to compete in the Final. • Any rider that has jumped on a 4* or 5* Nations Cup Team (2003 onwards) is not eligible for the Bronze League Final.
• Any riders who have been awarded FEI ranking points within five clear calendar years prior to the year of the Championship Final
• Five results at 1.35m within a league period move the horse/rider into the Gold League for three years/six consecutive league periods.
• Result/s at 1.40m and above automatically move horse/rider into the Gold League for three years/six consecutive league periods.

Entries in advance or on the day. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Crofton Manor EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
1st Aid £3.00 per day
Entries in all affiliated classes are confined to horses registered with the British Showjumping rule 79. No responsibility will be accepted by the organisers for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers or their property, servants or anyone in connection with the event. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant agrees to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising thereto. The expense of any veterinary services rendered either on or after the show must be born by the competitor or owner of stock. The decision of the judges is final. If any person wishes to lodge a complaint, this must be done within 30 minutes of the incident along with a deposit of £50 (which will be returned if the complaint is upheld). The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, amend the details of the schedule should it become necessary with prior permission from British Showjumping, or to cancel any class with insufficient entries. In accordance with British Showjumping rule 82.20, no member shall allow a stallions for which he/she is responsible as owner, leesee, authorised agent or rider to compete (or being prepared to compete) without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk. In the event of insufficient starters, British Showjumping rule 76.6 will apply. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must be cleaned up after! British Showjumping membership cards must be presented at the time of entry. British Showjumping tickets to ride are available at a cost of £6 each Prize money will not be paid until payment has been received for entry and must be collected on the day. Any prize money not collected will be forfeited. Children must not be left on the premises unattended. If you are competing at Crofton Manor and have travelled alone, you must notify the Secretary and leave contact details in case of emergency. Horse and Ponies must not be left tied to the trailer/Horsebox unattended. Stables must be left clean and tidy with banks up. Only stables booked may be used. Rule 164.1a will be applied (45 second countdown will be in operation) All competitors should make sure that when at the event they are carrying a valid passport for their horse (For Identification) Any point not covered may be referred to the secretary, whose decision is final. Drawn orders will take place at 4pm the day prior to the competition, withdrawals after this time will be charged the full entry fee. Drawn orders will be posted on the website by 5pm the day prior to the competition www.croftonmanor.co.uk Pre entry and drawn order – Entries may be accepted on the day before 9am, providing pre entries for each class are less than 60. Any entries taken on the day must compete first in the drawn order. Once entries reach 60 in total on the day, before 9am the class will be closed.
