VACCINATION CHECKS IN PLACE FOR ALL HORSES. PLEASE SEE WEBSITE FOR VACCINATION RULES AND BIOSECURITY MEASURES.
Timings: Class times will be made available with bridle numbers on the evening of Friday 10th April. All times are approximate and may be subject to change. No paper numbers will be given. You may use your own bridle numbers, alternatively, remember your number and give this to the steward in the warm-up and you will be called for your round in order. Course walk will be approximately 15 minutes before the start of the class.

Novice Top Score – pre-entry only . 60 seconds to jump as many jumps as you can, with varying points awarded. Jumps can be jumped in both directions. Jumps 60 – 80cm. Joker fence at 90cm.

Online entries close midday on Friday. Entries on the day only if space permits. Classes may close early if they reach capacity.
Sections: Junior riders to be 16 or under on the day of competing
Dress code: Relaxed but smart.

Entry fee £15 pre-entry per class. £18 on the day per class. & £4 paramedic fee per rider.

Rosettes 1st-6th place. Sections: Junior / Senior.

Special Classes
The Swallowfield Show Championship 31st August 2020
Class 5: Pony Championships open to ponies 14.3hh& under. To qualify must jump a clear at 80cm. Class 7: Horse Championships open to horses over 14.3hh. To qualify must jump a clear at 90cm.

The Sunshine Tour Championship 17th – 20th September
Achieve 1st to 4th in class 2, 3, 4, 6 & 7. Fill in the details on your Qualifier Form and ask the Show Secretary or Organiser to sign it. Register your qualification and upload your completed and signed Qualifier Form. https://sunshinetour.co.uk/championships/show-jumping/

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawals/refunds: In line with BS rule 79.5 cancellations received by noon 48 hours before the first day of competition will have 50% of the entry fees refunded. After this time, no refunds will be given. Transfers will be allowed for withdrawals received before the day of the show. If weather conditions are extreme, please check our website for updates or call in case of cancellation.

Rules pertaining to the Health & Safety of all persons at Wellington Riding.
1) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI standards at all times when mounted on the show ground.
2) All dogs to be kept on a lead at all times & are not allowed in the arena.
3) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians.
4) Children under the age of 16 should be accompanied by a parent of guardian over the age of 18 years, who will be fully responsible for their behaviour and welfare.
5) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be silenced during competitions.
6) Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site.
7) Please keep the lorry park clear of hay and droppings.
8) The organisers decision is final.
Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a high-risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, owners or other persons or property.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in need of show help for our busy events calendar. If you join us as a volunteer, we will offer you ‘on the job training’ and will give you the opportunities to go to accredited training courses by governing bodies such as BD, BS and BE. For every 8 hours of volunteering you complete we will offer you a choice of unaffiliated show entries or rider training in group lessons. More info given on enquiry.
