Special Classes
Including qualifiers for the National Hunter Trial Series * Classes 2-6 will include qualifiers for the National Hunter Trial Finals to be held at Eland Lodge in September 2020. The top 3 will qualify in each class.

Terms & Conditions
1. The decisions of the Judges and of the Organisers are final and the competition will be run under The Pony Club Rule Book 2020 2. Competitors may NOT ride more than 2 horses/ponies in any one class. No horse/pony may compete in more than two classes. 3. HARD HATS must be worn at all times, with chinstrap fastened, when mounted and must conform to PAS015:1998 0r 2011 with BSI Kitemark, VG1 with BSI Kitemark, Snell E2001 or AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006 standard. ALL HATS MUST BE/BRC/ PONY CLUB TAGGED. (2018 AQUAMARINE TAG). For XC riding over fences 0.80cm and above a jockey’s skullcap must be worn with no fixed peak or protuberance. It is strongly recommended that a jockey’s skull-cap be worn for XC riding even over lower fences. No recording devices or stopwatches are permitted. 4. BODY PROTECTORS LEVEL 3 must be worn cross-country. BETA 2009. Air jackets may be worn in addition to a body protector, but not on their own. BODY CAGES: keys must be left with the organiser who will give them to the medical team. All competitors must also wear a medical armband. 5. DRESS – Hacking Jacket / Pony Club sweatshirt or XC colours. No earrings allowed. 6. This event is OPEN to all members of the Pony Club, Affiliated Riding Clubs, BHS, BE, BSJA and BD. Non-members must be covered by their own insurance. Competitors take part at their own risk 7. DOGS must be kept on leads at all times 8. WITHDRAWAL: No entry fees will be refunded for withdrawals after the closing date unless a veterinary certificate is presented. In any event £6 will be retained to cover administration costs. 9. CANCELLATION: In the event of cancellation entry fees will be returned, less £6.00 per competitor, on receipt of SAE. 10. HEALTH & SAFETY: The Organisers for this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For measures to be effective, everyone MUST take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions o the Organisers and all Officials and Stewards. 11. LIABILITY: Although every care will be taken, neither the organisers nor any person acting on their behalf or the Landowners can accept any liability for the loss, damaged, accident or injury to persons, horses or property. 12. ELIMINATION: Competitors must leave the course after a request from a Fence Judge or Official following either three refusals at one fence or taking the wrong course.
