Once again, we are excited to present our Eventers Challenge at Wellington Riding
The course will utilise our superb outdoor arena and will comprise a course of 8-10 show jumps followed by a course of 8-10 eventing obstacles set out in our stunning Waterloo Arena. The round will finish with 2 show jumps set slightly higher than the rest of the course.
The course is designed by Conan Rowan, Senior Instructor who will be using his experience and knowledge gleaned from eventing at 3 day level and show jumping at Grand Prix level to set a challenging and fun track, perfect to put a spring in your step over the festive period

Prize Information
Prizes – 1st Prize £30, 2nd Prize £25, 3rd Prize £20
N.B. All prize money will be paid by BACS to the rider
The winner will be the rider with the fewest faults closest to the optimum time (speed to be announced on the day)

Terms & Conditions
. The show organisers, Wellington Riding, reserve the right to cancel, add or to amend any of the competitions as they may see fit 2. Show organisers reserve the right to remove any vehicle or equipment which is obstructing any access to or on the show ground even if locked, secured, unattended and braked. They will not be liable for any injury, loss, damage etc. 3. All classes will be run under current British Eventing rules. 4. The decision of the judge is final in all instances. 5. Any competitor found schooling in the rings without permission will be disqualified from the show. 6. The show organisers reserve the right to exclude or remove from the show ground any person or property for any reason & without giving a reason. 7. Neither Wellington Riding, nor any of their representatives or staff shall in any way be liable for any accident, injury, damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to anyone on the show ground at any time. 8. Wellington Riding reserves the right to refuse entry for any reason whatsoever & with no refund of entry fee or membership subscriptions. 9. Entry constitutes an agreement to be bound by & to abide by the Rules & Regulations of Wellington Riding.

IMPORTANT – Rules pertaining to the Health & Safety of all persons attending Wellington Riding.
i) All competitors should wear a correctly fastened hat to the current BSI Standards at all times when mounted on the show ground. ii) All dogs should be kept on a lead at all times. iii) All horses or ponies, when outside the arena, should be moved at the walk only, to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians. iv) Children under the age of 16 years should be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 yrs, who will be held responsible for their behaviour and welfare. v) Please note that flash photography is strictly forbidden. Mobile phones should be switched off during competitions. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on site vi) For safety reasons, the gate across the main driveway must be kept closed at all times.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a risk sport and therefore, Wellington Riding and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, riders, owners or other persons or property.

If weather conditions are extreme, please ring and check in case of cancellation.
