Show Information
There will be an undisclosed optimum time in each class. For every commenced second in excess of the optimum time, and for every second commenced in excess of 15 seconds under the optimum time, the rider will accrue 0.4 penalties. The winner will be the rider with the least penalties. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the rider closest to the optimum time. In the event the result is still tied, the winner will be the rider closest to, and below the optimum time.

The competition will be held under British Eventing Cross Country Rules, with the exception that NO WATCHES ARE ALLOWED.

Appropriate cross country competition wear must be worn. You must wear an up to standard peakless hat (as per British Eventing Rules). You must wear an up to standard Body Protector. If an Air Jacket is worn, this must be worn over a standard Body Protector. You will need to provide your own number bib.

The entry fee for all classes will be £30 plus a £10 start fee. If you go to https://www.redwings.org.uk/strangles/make-apledge, take the Stamp Out Strangles pledge, and produce your certificate, your start fee will only be £5.

Prize Information
Rosettes are awarded up to 6th place. Prize money is awarded up to 3rd place: £50 1st prize, £30 2nd prize, £20 3rd prize.

Special Classes
The top three in each class qualify for the elandlodge.com National Hunter Trial Championships. You must go clear to qualify. If anyone in the top three has already qualified, qualification can be passed down the line.
