TIMES ~ available via horsearenas.co.uk on the Friday preceeding the Event after 7.00pm
COURSE WALK ~ The course will be available for walking at the start of each class.It is your responsibility to have walked the course and be ready to compete.
DRESS CODE ~ XC Colours or show jackets (incl Tweed) may be worn. No yard boots. Body protectors BETA Level 3 (purple label) 2000 or 2009 label are madatory and medical armbands are strongly advised. Air jackets may be worn over a body protector. Fixed peak hats are NOT allowed.
NOTICES ~ Number bibs are not requred. Please declare with the steward at the collecting ring.
EQUINE INFLUENZA ~ All horses must be up to date with their flu vaccs, either their annual vaccination, or the first 2 of their primary course plus 7 days. Failure to show a correct passport or incorrect vaccinations will result in elimination with no refund.
OBJECTIONS ~ Anyone wishing to make an objection must do so in writing within 30 minutes of the incident happening along with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.
HEALTH & SAFETY ~ The organiser of this event has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards connected with this event. The organiser does not insure the rider, your horse or your tack and equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate personal accident insurance at all times.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY ~ Save for death or injury by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, Ashwood Equestrian Ltd, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty in any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event or otherwise.
GENERAL RULES
1. The Event will be run in conjunction with BE Rules 2019 unless stated in this schedule.
2. All classes are open to juniors or seniors riding horses or ponies.
3. Horses/Ponies must be 4 years old or older.
4. Hard hats upto the current British Standard must be worn at all times when mounted. No fixed peaks allowed.
5. Body protectors, BETA Level 3 (purple label) 2000 or 2009 label are compulsory and medical armbands are strongly advised. Air jackets may be worn over a body protector.
6. Any horse/pony considered to be unsound, unfit or unhealthy by a Judge, the Organiser or the Technical Advisor will be excluded from the competition without refund of entry.
7. No horseboxes to be mucked out on site.
8. Scoring will be worked out on penalties.
9. It is compulsory that every person at the venue who is under the age of 18 years of age is accompanied by a responsible adult.
10. No dogs will be allowed in or around any of the arenas or on the cross country course, they must stay in the lorry park or preferably remain at home. Please clean up after you dogs AND TAKE YOUR POO BAGS HOME.
11. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry and to remove anyone from the venue at any time without giving a reason.
12. The event may be cancelled without notice due to adverse weather. In the event of adverse weather it is recommended that you check the website www.horsearenas.co.uk for any announcements or call 07565 554958. In the unlikely event of abandonment, entries may be carried over to a future event or refunded minus £3 admin fee.
13. The judges decision is final.
