Two phases, judged as a single phase competition so you will get a go at the whole course.

The first phase is show jumps, fences 1-6, go steady & go clear!

Then kick on to Phase 2! Our speciality rustic fences make up jumps 7-14 against the clock! All obstacles will be knock down able, no solid fences. Water may be included.

The double clear with the fastest time in Phase 2 will be the winner.

PRE-ENTRIES ONLY with a time given so you know exactly when in the day you will be jumping.

Payment Details & Event Fees

ENTRIES ~ Entries in advance ONLY. ONLINE ENTRIES - THE ENTER BUTTON  IS AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE. CLOSING DATE Midnight on the Thursday preceeding the Event. Entries can be made on-line at www.horsearenas.co.uk. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment. To enter via BACS please contact the secretary. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT. Late entries may be accepted after closing date at £10 extra. NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.

ASHWOOD MEMBERS ~ Enter via email & BACS for Members Discount. Email ashwoodevents@hotmail.com with Class, Horse & Rider (junior/senior). A reply with BACS details will be sent as confirmation of receipt. Payment must be received before closing date of entries.

Prize Information

PRIZES ~ In Kind for all classes. Rosettes to 6th place.

CATERING ~ Hot and cold food will be available throughout the event.

Withdrawals/Refunds

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS ~ All entries are considered final. No refunds will be issued for whatever reason unless the event is full and the entry can be replaced from the waitlist. A waiting list will be kept for all classes which fill.

SUBSTITUTIONS ~ If substituting either a horse or rider there is a £5 admin charge. Changing both horse & rider in the same entry qualifies as a whole new entry & must be paid in full.

COURSE WALK ~ The course will be available for walking at the start of each class.

 

DRESS CODE ~ XC colours or show jacket may be worn. No yard boots. Body protectors, BETA Level 3 (purple label) 2000 or 2009 label and medical armbands are strongly advised.  Air jackets may be worn over a body protector.

NOTICES ~ Number bibs are not requred. Please declare with the steward at the collecting ring.

 

EQUINE INFLUENZA ~ All horses must be up to date with their flu vaccs, either their annual vaccination, or the first 2 of their primary course plus 7 days. Failure to show a correct passport or incorrect vaccinations will result in elimination with no refund.

  

OBJECTIONS ~ Anyone wishing to make an objection must do so in writing within 30 minutes of the incident happening along with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained. 

 

HEALTH & SAFETY ~ The organiser of this event has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards connected with this event. The organiser does not insure the rider, your horse or your tack and equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate personal accident insurance at all times. 

 

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY ~ Save for death or injury by the negligence of the organiser or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, Ashwood Equestrian Ltd, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty in any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event or otherwise. 

 

GENERAL RULES

1. The Event will be run in conjunction with BE Rules 2019 unless stated in this schedule.

2. All classes are open to juniors or seniors riding horses or ponies.

4. Horses/Ponies must be 4 years old or older. 

5. Hard hats upto the current British Standard must be worn at all times when mounted. No fixed peaks allowed.

6. Body protectors, BETA Level 3 (purple label) 2000 or 2009 label and medical armbands are strongly advised.  Air jackets may be worn over a body protector.

8. Any horse/pony considered to be unsound, unfit or unhealthy by a Judge, the Organiser or the Technical Advisor will be excluded from the competition without refund of entry. 

9. No horseboxes to be mucked out on site. 

10. Scoring will be worked out on penalties. 

11. It is compulsory that every person at the venue who is under the age of 18 years of age is accompanied by a responsible adult. 

12. No dogs will be allowed in or around any of the arenas or on the cross country course, they must stay in the lorry park or preferably remain at home. Please clean up after you dogs AND TAKE YOUR POO BAGS HOME.  

13. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry and to remove anyone from the venue at any time without giving a reason. 

14. The event may be cancelled without notice due to adverse weather. In the event of adverse weather it is recommended that you check the website www.horsearenas.co.uk for any announcements or call 07565 554958. In the unlikely event of abandonment, entries may be carried over to a future event or refunded minus £3 admin fee.

15. The judges decision is final.
