Entry Fees

 

*       Classes 1 & 2 £14 (OBH North members £12)  

*       Winter League Classes 4 & 5 £18 (OBH North members £16)

*       Classes 3 & 6 £17 (OBH North members £15)

*       Entry fees include paramedic cover

*       Team entry fees; £8 per team (OBH North Members no additional team fee)

*       Teams to consist of 3 to 4 competitors in the same class, all must be entered as

individuals, names of team riders must be declared on the team entry form on line when entering

*       A non refundable booking fee of £1.35 per individual entry

*       Individual entries close midnight 10th November (or earlier if classes are full)

*       Team entries close at midnight on 16th November (point of contact details are

required for each team manager)

PRIZES

 

*       Rosettes and prizes to be awarded 1st to 4th for teams in each class & 1st to 10th for Individuals in all classes.

*       Prize giving will be un-mounted,in correct dress at the end of each class

*       Prize to highest placed OBH North member in each class.

 

RULES

 

*       ELIGIBILITY This competition is open to ALL

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

*       The judge’s decision is final.

*       Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date of 10th November 2019

*       All individual and team entries to be made online to www.horse-events.co.uk

 

CLASS SPECIFIC RULES

 

*       All classes will run under Pony Club rules.

*       In classes 1 & 2 a pony may be ridden by two different riders in the same class.

*       In all remaining classes the following rules will apply; No horse may compete in more than 2 classes or be ridden more than once in each class.

*       Teams may include riders riding more than one horse / pony

 

SINGLE PHASE

 

*       Single Phase Competition (course in two parts with second part timed.)

*       Competitors to jump both parts unless eliminated. Faults to be accumulated.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WINTER LEAGUE

*       The Pony Club Winter Show Jumping and Dressage Championships have become a rite of passage for talented grassroots riders, with many of the success stories going on to feature at The Pony Club Championships in the summer months.

*       There are three stages to the competition:

Show Jumping Preliminary Rounds are held throughout the country from May to February the first four placed riders (depending on number of entries this number could increase) at each of the Preliminary Rounds will be awarded rosettes and qualify to go forward to one of the Area Competitions.

Area Competitions are held throughout March, riders from each of the Area

competitions qualify for The Winter Series Championships.

The 2020 Championships will take place at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Buckinghamshire on Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April 2020

*       To qualify for the PC Winter League you must be a PC member at the date of

qualification.

 

TEAMS

 

*       Teams to consist of 3 or 4 riders, best 3 scores will count. Competitors jump only once whether individual or team

*       Only the Team Manager of each Pony Club Branch is to deal with the

secretary for declarations, enquiries, objections etc.

*       It is the responsibility of the team manager to declare their competitors on arrival at the venue.

*       Objections must be made in writing to the Secretary within 5 minutes of the conclusion of the relevant class with a £50 deposit. Video or photographic evidence is not admissible

 

PHOTOGRAPHY

 

*       Professional photographers SBM Photographic https://www.sbmphotographic.co.uk/) will be present and photographs available to purchase on the day.

 

CANCELLATION

 

*       The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event, in which case entry

fees will be refunded (less £2 per competitor). In the event of adverse weather conditions the competition may be rescheduled, please check the OBH North website for information.

 

REFRESHMENTS Will be available from onsite indoor café

DOGS Must be kept under control and on a lead at all times.

PARAMEDICS Will be in attendance.

 

DISCLAIMER

 

The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable

precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. Any damages must be paid for.

Vehicles, boxes and trailers and are parked entirely at the owner’s risk and the organisers

will not be liable for any claims in respect of damage, loss or injury to any person,

whether spectator, competitor, horse or property howsoever caused, in connection with or arising out of the competition.

 

IT IS THE COMPETITORS’ RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THEIR DRESS AND TACK

COMPLIES WITH PONY CLUB REGULATIONS 2019 PLEASE READ PC DRESS CODE

ESPECIALLY REGARDING JEWELLERY AND HAT TAGS.

NO HORSES OR PONIES TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED OUTSIDE TRAILERS OR LORRIES.

Refreshments:

 Paddocks cafe open throughout show hours serving hot and cold food, drinks and snacks.

By entering any equestrian class or competition run or held at Bury Farm EC you acknowledge that you are taking part in a risk sport and are a competent rider at the level to which you are competing.
