Classes 1 – 3, Starting 10:00 am prompt; (Show Office open at 9:15).

Class 4 - NOT BEFORE noon

Classes 1-3 are intended for novice or nervous riders only, or novice horses/ponies – see entry rules below; Lead rein or one assistant in the ring permitted classes 1, 2; one assistant in the ring permitted for class 3 but chasing and use of whips by the assistant is not permitted.

Classes will be divided between Horses and Ponies and Two Sets of Awards given when >15 entries per class at start 
Heights shown are maximum in first round; classes are 2 rounds unless stated – competitors jumping clear in first round take part in jump off against the clock. In the event of a large number of entries or any time delay, classes may be run ‘two phase' or 'Single phase' at the show organiser’s discretion. 
Entries to each class may be closed ½ hour after start of each class at organiser’s discretion. Pre-entries welcome.

Payment Details & Event Fees

You can book using our Secure Online Entry System or enter on the day at the venue for this event. 
Payment made online is secure and it goes directly to South View. 
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment, which may be via card or Paypal account.

At the venue, payment must be made on entry by card or cash.

ENTRY FEES: £10 per combination per class, VAT included.

FIRST AID:  £2 per rider per day.

 

Entry Cancellation: before start of class, refunded less £2 admin fee. After start of class no refund will be payable.

Note the £1.50 online booking fee is not refundable except on event cancellation.

Prize Information

 AWARDS (Issued per class or per section as appropriate based on number declared at start of class)

Rosette awarded as 1 per 5 starters or part. i.e. 1-5 starters=1, 6-10=2, 11-15=3, 16-20=4 etc

Prizes awarded by cheque or SouthView Voucher which must be collected on the day else are forfeit.

One prize awarded per whole 5 starters i.e. <5 starters=nil, 5-9=1st, 10-14=1st, 2nd, 15-19 1st, 2nd, 3rd; etc to max. of 6 prizes.

1st=£15, 2nd=£5, 3rd=£5, 4th=£5, 5th=£5, 6th=£5 

Refreshments:

Licensed & heated cafe with view of main indoor arena open throughout event, offering hot and cold snacks, meals and drinks to eat in or take away

Terms & Conditions

0Subject to the Rules and Regulations of SouthView Equestrian Centre Limited.

BSJA rules apply, except: no membership is required; juniors/seniors, horses/ponies compete together, lead rein (classes 1&2) or one person giving assistance (classes 1,2,3) permitted (strictly no altering of jumps), 3rd refusal/disobedience or 1st dismount = elimination; re-mounting not permitted; refusal or knockdown=4 faults.

note: Classes 1-3 are for novice or nervous riders or mounts only.

Combinations competing in class 1 may not compete in classes 4 -8.

Combinations in class 2 may not compete in classes 5-8.

Combinations in class 3 may not compete in classes 6-8;

Combinations entered in class 4 may not compete in class 7-8. 

South View Equestrian Centre Limited the show organisers, agents and officials, staff and volunteers, hereby exclude all responsibility and liability for any injury, accident, damage or illness, or any loss whatsoever, and howsoever arising either at the premises, or subsequent to or connected to any attendance at the premises, for any event or purpose, or in any use of South View Arena and associated facilities, to any person, property or animal. The organisers of these events have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone attending must also take all reasonable care to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must at all times obey the instructions of the organisers and of all officials and stewards. .The organisers may, at their absolute discretion, decline any entry, or exclude or remove any person/persons or animals from the show or from future shows, or return any entry fee without being required to assign any reason and without being liable for any compensation.
