Dress Code
Horse/Pony:
Need not be plaited, but should be clean and tidy.
boots or bandages permitted

Rider:
Jodhpurs or breeches; cream, white, canary or beige. No other colour.
Jacket with a shirt & tie, or stock or RFRC sweatshirt or polo shirt (Order form available on line at www.rfrc.org.uk ).
Gloves must be worn.
Long rubber/leather boots, or jodhpur boots with matching colour chaps or gaiters
Riding hats must be worn to the current PAS015 minimum standard, fitted with a 3-point harness.
Hair must not hang below the collar. Hair net will be required.

Terms & Conditions

1) It is a condition of entry that each competitor has read, understood and agreed to abide by these rules.
2) The organizers, and all persons connected with the event, accept no liability for any accident, damage, illness or loss of, or to, any horse, rider, spectator or any other persons or property whatsoever.
3) No entry will be accepted without the correct remittance.
4) In the case of adverse weather conditions, it is the responsibility of the entrant to enquire if the event is postponed or cancelled.
5) Any competitor jumping any fence outside of the jumping arenas, other than the allocated practice fence will be disqualified.
6) The organizers reserve the right to refuse or refund entries.
7) Any objection must be lodged at the secretary’s box within 15 minutes of the end of the class, with a deposit of £20.00. The panel’s decision is final. If the objection is over-ruled, the deposit is not refundable.
8) All competitors MUST, when mounted, wear riding hats to the current BSEN1384 or PAS015 minimum standard, fitted with a 3-point harness. From 1 January 2016, no hats with a peak of any description will be permitted for the XC phase of any BRC competition. Hat covers and silks will be permitted. Penalty for not obeying this rule is elimination.
9) Hair must not reach the collar.
10) No galloping is permitted outside the rings.
11) Competitors eliminated must leave the ring at a walk NO remounting.
12) We advise wearing body protectors at all times when mounted at shows and events, although this is not compulsory.
13) Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times, unless securely left inside vehicles. Remember dogs will die if left in hot cars.
14) In the event of cancellation by RFRC, 80% of the entry fee will be refunded.
15) No refunds will be given without the production of a Vet or GP letter.
16) PHOGRAPHER ATTENDING to be confirmed - if you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify the Secretary upon entry.
17) No telephone entries will be accepted
18) No entries will be accepted without the full entry fee
19) Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate competitors due in more than one ring, please make entries sensible as no refunds will be made where classes clash.
20) Please leave adequate time to prepare for your class.

Faults Knock down – 4 faults. First refusal – 4 faults. Second refusal (anywhere on the course) – 4 faults. Third refusal (anywhere on the course) – Elimination. Fall (anywhere on the course) – Elimination.
22) Please do not muck out lorries or trailers onto the showground and ensure all droppings are removed and deposited into the designated area where possible. Faliure to do so will incur a £20.00 fine.
