Terms & Conditions
1. All persons entering the show ground shall be bound by these rules and regulations.
2. The Organising Committee do not accept liability for damage, any accident or injury of any kind to any person, animal or property whatsoever.
3. The Judges decision is final.
4. The Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry/entries without reason, alter the time, date and schedule and allocation of prizes.
5. Any competitor who, in the eyes of the judges ill treats or causes unnecessary suffering to any horse or pony will be asked to leave the showground.
6. Competition will be run under British Riding Club rules. Where a situation isn’t covered in the BRC rulebook, British Show Jumping rules will take effect.

7. Under BRC rules faults will be incurred as follows:
Knocking down any part of an obstacle including the wing 4 faults
First disobedience on the whole course 4 faults
Second disobedience on the whole course 8 faults
Third disobedience on the whole course Elimination
First fall of rider on the whole course 8 faults
Second fall of rider on the whole course Elimination
Fall of horse Elimination

8. Horses/ponies may only compete a maximum of four rounds.
9. Warm up fences may only be at or below the height of the class being jumped. This will be monitored.
10. Protective hats must be worn up to current BRC standard (see rule book for full details). Spot checks will be carried out. No refunds will be given if a competitor is not allowed to compete due to their hat not being of an acceptable standard.
11. Body protectors with a BETA Level 3 purple label 2009 or later are strongly recommended.
12. It is regretted that no entry fees can be refunded.
13. Objections must be made in writing and given to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident, with a deposit of £20.00, which will be returned if the objection is upheld.
14. Horses must not be left unattended when tied to the outside of lorries or trailers and all droppings, hay and litter MUST be removed from the car park.
15. BRC members are covered for individual public liability insurance while at the event. Non-BRC members need to have their own public liability insurance.
