ALL HORSES MUST HAVE UP TO DATE VACCINATIONS. THEY MUST HAVE HAD A BOOSTER WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS AND NOT LESS THAN 7 CLEAR DAYS BEFORE THE DATE OF THE COMPETITION. ALL HORSE/PONIES MUST REMAIN UNBOXED UNTIL THEIR PASSPORTS HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND APPROVED

The course will be open for walking from Saturday 13 July from 2pm till 6 pm, gates will be locked at 6.30pm

Wait lists will be held if over subscribed
ALL changes to horse or rider made after midday 4 JULY will be subject to a £5.00 admin fee
Those within 3 days of the competition will be subject to a £10 admin fee
Change of both horse & rider will be treated as a new entry

Withdrawals/Refunds
WITHDRAWALS: Full refund will be made for withdrawals made via email before the close of entries at Midday on 4 July less £5 admin fee - PLEASE ADVISE US OF WITHDRAWALS VIA EMAIL info@westwilts.com After the close of entries, no refund will be given unless replaced from wait list. These will also be subject to a £5.00 administration fee. In the event of abandonment entry fees will be returned less £5 administration fee

Terms & Conditions
CONDITIONS AND RULES
Will be run under BE Rules for Horse Trials 2019
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry. No horse or pony may compete in more than one class.
PASSPORTS/VACCINATION CERTIFICATES
A passport/vaccination certificate with a complete history MUST be brought with the horse/pony. Please ensure that the name of the entered horse matches with the name on the Certificate and that you allow sufficient time for the certificate to be checked. Please check WWEC current vaccination policy. No changes will be allowed on the day in the event of Vaccinations failures.
COURSE
There are 3 courses, all over fixed fences and approximately 2 km on permanent pasture. PURPLE for the 80 CMS ORANGE for the 90 CMS PINK for the 100 CMS All competitors are responsible for making way for and not impeding overtaking competitors. Inconsiderate riding leading to obstructing another competitor could lead to elimination at the Steward's discretion. Elimination and Retiring Any competitor who is eliminated or who retires must leave the course immediately at a walk. Walking the course. The course will be open for inspection on foot only from 2 pm until 6pm on the Saturday before the competition. Numbers will be available from the Secretary's office from 1 hour before the first competitor starts on the day of the competition (start fee £10 to include First Aid) Results: The winner will be the competitor with the least number of faults.
NUMBER BIBS
Competitors must wear the correct number at all times when mounted. Competitors must supply their own number bibs, the organisers will only provide the paper inserts
HATS & BODY PROTECTORS
Everyone mounted, whether competing or not, must wear an appropriate hard hat (to comply with current BE Rules) For the cross country element body protectors are obligatory as per the BE approved list (See current rule books) Half chaps/matching boots may be worn
QUERIES OR OBJECTIONS
Objections must be made within 20 minutes of posting the results, accompanied by a fee of £20, which will be re-funded if the objection is upheld.
PRIZE GIVING
All prizes and rosettes will be presented as soon as possible after the completion of each class.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Neither the organisers, nor the sponsors accept any liability for any accidents, injury, illness or damage to horses, owners, riders, spectators, ground or any persons or property whatsoever.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all the Officials and Stewards. You are politely requested to comply with the requests of any Official in order to ensure the safety of yourself and others while attending the event.

Horses can easily be frightened and can be dangerous. Members of the public are requested to keep clear from horse areas/lanes and to avoid behaviour that might alarm horses. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
Emergency Services must have access to all parts of the event site at all times and members of the public must not park vehicles so as to obstruct access.
Disability Notice Any person attending the event who suffers from a disability and/or have a wheeled disability conveyance should park in the designated parking. The secretaries will have copies of a plan of the areas which we consider will be safer for them to attend, either in their car or on their disability conveyance.
Access to the Cross Country course will be limited for safety reasons.

TV & Photography
Please note that professional photographers will be present at the Qualifiers and there may also be TV cameras at the Championships. Please indicate on the entry form if you do not wish to appear in press coverage/TV or photos taken by our official photographers.

Rules- NSEA General Rules 2018-19 & British Eventing Rules 2019 The list of qualifiers are listed on the NSEA website. Top 4 teams & top 4 individuals per section to qualify for the 2019 Championship Substitutions for the championships ‐ a qualified team may substitute up two 2 riders at the final but these riders must have competed in one of the NSEA qualifying events or the BE equivalent at the same height. Individual qualifications‐ it is the horse/rider combination qualify so no substitution is possible

Your Responsibility
All persons attending the event must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey instructions given by the Organiser or by officials and stewards on its behalf. All competitors and those associated with their school are the responsibility of the Team Manager whilst at the competition

I declare that all of the above competitors are capable of competing in the Class/es they are entered for and are pupils attending the school named above in 2019. I have read and agree to abide by the NSEA Rules18-19. If a competitor is aged 17 years or under, the entry form must be signed by a parent/guardian or team manager. Your signature on the entry form will be deemed to be an acceptance of the Rules and Conditions contained herein.
