Terms & Conditions

General
1. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without specifying a reason. 2. No entry will be accepted without a signed acknowledgement of the Conditions of Entry and Safety Advice. 3. Any competitor/owner/handler using facilities not specified within the Showground shall be liable for all penalties incurred. 4. Show Organisers and GB PRE do not accept any liability for any accident, damage or injury to any horse, owner, rider, handler, spectator, or any other persons or property whatsoever. 5. Entry fees will only be refunded on presentation of a veterinary certificate 6. All dogs must be kept on a lead. There will be a £20.00 fine for loose dogs. 7. Strictly NO SMOKING in any public areas. 9. For the safety of everyone, pedestrians, riders, handlers, etc. must obey all direction signs on the show ground. 10. Please be courteous at ALL TIMES to the Show Staff, Judges and fellow competitors. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from the event and/or membership cancellation. 11. No Barbeques are allowed in the lorry park area. 12. No VEHICLES are permitted to enter the Stable Block Area. 13. Any complaint must be made in writing and within half an hour of the incident to the Show Director accompanied by £25 14. All ANCCE classes will run in accordance with ANCCE Rules & Regulations, published separately on the GBPRE website. 15. By entering the competition competitors agree to all Conditions of Entry. 16. It is strongly advised that exhibitors wear a correctly fitted riding hat when mounted, which has been manufactured to the current approved standard as outlined by the BHS and meets the appropriate affiliated societies rules and regulations. Hat standards are outlined below: • PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) • VG1 01.040 (2014-12) • ASTM F1163 (2004a or 04a onwards) • SNELL E2001 • AS/NZS 3838 (2006 onwards) 17. Any rider that chooses to ignore this recommendation does so at their own risk and the show does not accept responsibility for competitors that do not follow this recommendation. Any rider seen riding without a correct hard hat will be asked to dismount unless competing in a parade/traditional tack & dress class. I hereby certify that I have been advised of this safety statement in respect of competing at the GB PRE Show, Hartpury on 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th July 2017 and by submitting my entry this is my acknowledgement of this condition along with all other Conditions of entry.

Horses 1. All UK entries must be registered in the UK under correct ownership, and in the case of entries into ANCCE classes, horses must also be correctly registered with ANCCE. Visiting horses from outside of the UK to compete in the ANCCE classes must be correctly registered with ANCCE via their relevant country. Invited breeds must be registered with their relevant breed society. 2. All horses must be accompanied by their passport, which must be available for inspection on request. 3. Horses must have their Equine Influenza vaccination up to date. 4. Horses present at the show must be in good health and body condition, and sound. If a horse is deemed to be unsuitable for competition by the Competition Vet the owner will be asked to withdraw the horse from the class. The Competition Vet’s decision is final. 5. All ridden horses must be 4yrs old and over. 6. Horses under inadequate control or whose riders/handlers cannot keep them in a manner acceptable to the judge /officials/other competitors will be asked to leave the ring at the judge’s discretion, and may also be asked to leave the showground. 7. All Serreta halters and in-hand show halters/bridles must have an attached throat lash and fit the horse’s head correctly. 8. Horses must be kept to a walk around the horsebox parking area, and around the stable area. 9. Horses must not be kept on lorries overnight 10. Horses must not be tied to the outside of a lorry.

Show Ring 1. The judge’s decision is final. If any person wishes to lodge an objection, it must be made in writing to the Show Director within 30 minutes of the said incident, accompanied by £25. 2. The Organisers reserve the right to amend any details of times, rings, judges, including the cancellation, amalgamation or splitting of classes, where necessary. 3. In the event of a scheduled judge not being able to attend the Show, the entrants must accept the decisions of the judge deputised to act. 4. ANY act of discourtesy or disobedience to any judge or official on the part of an exhibitor, owner, groom, handler, or rider will, at the discretion of such official, disqualify the horse from being judged and may result in a request to leave the showground. All entry fees and charges will be forfieted. 5. Owners may be permitted, at their own discretion, to allow a foal to run free during the period that its dam is being judged, but at all other times all foals must remain on a lead line and halter. 6. No competitor or any assistant will be allowed into any show ring unless correctly attired. Judges or Ring Stewards may ask a competitor to change their attire if not correctly dressed for a class.

Transport 1. Horse Boxes & Trailers must be parked a minimum of 4 metres apart. 2. Lorries must carry a Fire Extinguisher in working order. 3. Cars must not be parked in the lorry park area. After unloading they must be moved to the car park. 4. No Vehicles are permitted to enter the Stable Block Area. 5. Barbeques are not allowed in the lorry park area 6. No mucking out into the lorry park: place all litter in the receptacles provided 7. Caravans will be parked in area the other side of the stream there are hook ups adjacent to the Parkway Arena. No Caravans will be allowed in the Box Park. 8. Camping is not allowed around the arenas nor in the general car parks. The designated Camping area is behind the International Arena in the small paddock. 9. Stable deposits are ONLY refundable on show days. 10. Unreturned room keys are chargeable at £35 each. 11. The person to which a room is allocated is responsible for the key. Thank you for your cooperation, please be safe and enjoy the event
