 All attending equines must hold a valid vaccination certificate for EQUINE FLU which accords with the stipulations of British Showjumping Rule 42.5 (this stipulates annual boosters)

Passports/certificates must be carried at all times per DEFRA regulations and spot checks will be conducted

OPEN TO SCHOOLS FROM ALL COUNTIES for Regional Points League PLUS: Qualifier for The County final For the counties of Cheshire, Lancashire. Greater Manchester. Merseyside and North Wales PLUS : Qualifier for Windsor Intermediate (90cm) Team Event & Hickstead Elite Team Event (1 Metre) and 1:10 Individual Event County Final is to be Held at Bury Farm Equestrian Centre, Buckinghamshire On the 18-20th April 2018; (The highest placed team and highest placed individual, for each eligible county, 70 cm to 1 metre classes to qualify)

Cancelaltions prior to the closing date must be made by email to office@southviewarena.com and will be refunded within 14 days of he event less a £5 administration fee.

All schools must be affiliated to the NSEA in order to compete in this competition; this applies to both team and individual riders. For membership details please see www.nsea.org.uk
South View Equestrian Centre Limited the show organisers, agents and officials, staff and volunteers, hereby exclude all responsibility and liability for any injury, accident, damage or illness, or any loss whatsoever, and howsoever arising either at the premises, or subsequent to or connected to any attendance at the premises, for any event or purpose, or in any use of South View Arena and associated facilities, to any person, property or animal.
The organisers of these events have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone attending must also take all reasonable care to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must at all times obey the instructions of the organisers and of all officials and stewards. .The organisers may, at their absolute discretion, decline any entry, or exclude or remove any person/persons or animals from the show or from future shows, or return any entry fee without being required to assign any reason and without being liable for any compensation.

SCORING - Teams to be made up of 3 or 4 from the same NSEA Member school, with the best three scores to count (all team members will automatically count as individuals).

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY - The judge’s decision is final. Entry fees cannot be refunded after closing date in any circumstance. The fully completed entry form and entry fee must accompany all entry submissions.

WEBSITE/PRESS - If you do not wish for your child’s name to appear in results in the equestrian press or the NSEA or SouthView website, please indicate on the Entry Form

MEMBERSHIP- For full details of NSEA membership and rules please refer to www.nsea.org.uk • This event will run under BSJA Club Rules, with the provision that three refusals will result in elimination, rather than two. Classes will be run as a BSJA Single Phase Competition (course in two parts with second part timed) Competitors to jump both parts unless eliminated. Faults to be accumulated over both sections. • A horse/rider combination may compete in 2 teams at the same competition, providing that they are at 2 consecutive heights. • A horse/rider combination cannot compete where the starting height is 30cm lower than previously competed in any competition • No horse may compete in more than 2 classes or be ridden more than once in each class. • Classes will run in accordance with the published drawn order; anyone who does not present at the ring ready to jump at their allotted slot will be eliminated. • Age of competitors as at 1st January 2019. • Teams must consist of at least 3 different riders from the same school. A rider may only compete once in each team. • All riders must be in full time education at the school or college they represent on the date of competition. • Stallions may only compete in school competitions with prior permission from the competition organiser. This must be sought before the entry closure date and if approved, must wear a stallion disc and tail ribbon. • Only the Team Manager of each school is to deal with the secretary for declarations, enquiries, objections etc. • Objections must be made in writing to the Show Secretary within 5 minutes of the conclusion of the relevant class with a £50 deposit. Video or photographic evidence is not admissible. • It is the responsibility of the team manager to declare their competitors on arrival at the venue with the Collecting Ring Steward. . Riders must wear their allotted start number whenever mounted - a tie on number will be provided • Body protectors are recommended.

Anyone entering this competition will be deemed to have agreed to abide by the rules in this schedule and NSEA 2018-19 rules and the rules of SouthView Competition Centre. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the eve nt in which case entry fees will be refunded in full. In the event of adverse weather conditions or any other reason that the organisers may at their absolute discretion deem appropriate, the competition will be rescheduled. The organisers reserve the right to decline any entry as they see fit. Cancellations after the closing date are non-refundable; prior to the closing date refunded less £5 admin fee and the £1.50 3rd party booking fee.
