IT IS THE HORSE OWNER & RIDER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK ELIGIBILITY FOR ANY CLASS.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Duration stabling and hookup must be pre-booked on the website (uses the Equine Affairs / My Riding Life system and allows payment via card or Paypal account.

Entries - classes can be booked along with stables online or else can be entered on the day. 

Show Office payments by cash card or cheque must be made with entry.

BS Ticket to Ride - £6 (applicable if horse and/or rider do not have current BS membership)

 

 

Prize Information

In all classes, in the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld in accordance with rule 76.6.1 Clause 75.13 also applied where appropriate

Prizes must be collected ON THE DAY,  else they are forfeit.   

Class results and prizes awarded are available to check in print format in the show office after each class - you are advised to check results on the day as any challenge MUST be submitted immediately in accordance with BS regulations and will not otherwise be considered for amendment by the British Showjumping Shows Office.

Special Classes

 24th May - includes THE BIG STAR SIX YEAR OLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER 

NOTE THAT THIS DAY (I.E. 24/5) INCLUDES CLASSES THAT ARE BY BS STIPULATION MANDATORY PRE-ENTRY AND DRAWN ORDER - SEE SCHEDULE DETAIL

Split Classes - please ensure that your entry is for the correct section and that you/your ride  are elgible for that section. Check with the collecting ring steward and listen to the judges' announcements in the ring. Also check the printed results which the judges provide to the show office from the BS Judging App system . You will be fined by BS if you jump a class or a section of a class for which you are not eligible and all prize money is forfeit.

Refreshments:

 Cafe open throughout show, offering hot and cold food and drinks. Full licensed. Indoor seating / outdoor patio :)

Withdrawals/Refunds

AFTER THE DATE/TIMES STATED BELOW NO REFUNDS WILL BE PAYABLE REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE. Vets/medical certificates are not required.

BEFORE THE DATE/TIMES STATED BELOW - REFUNDED LESS £5 CANCELLATION ADMIN FEE AND THE £1.50 ONLINE BOOKING FEE

PLEASE NOTE THAT A DIFFERENT CUT OFF DATE APPLIES FOR STABLES / HOOUP AND CLASS ENTRIES

Stabling and/or hookup - must be cancelled by 17/5/2019 at noon by email to office@southviewarena.com. A reply email will be sent - please check this is received before the cut off time.

Entries - Classes 1 and 2 (i.e.Drawn Order Classes) - must be cancelled by email to office@southviewarena.com (A reply email will be sent - please check this is received before the cut off time)  or in person at the Show Office prior to 6pm of the day before the class.

'Number on the Board' classes - must be cancelled by email or in person at the Show Office before the commencement of the class; i.e. before the bell rings for the first combination to jump.

Valid Refunds will be processed as soon as possible to the original paying party by the original payment means and will be within 28 days of the last day of the event.

Random checks on flu vaccinations will be acarried out in accordance with BS rules - please be prepared to present your passport for verification at the show office. 

Please be sure that your horse is properly injected in accordance with BS stipulations. Please do not attend if any vaccination has taken place in the last seven days.
