 All competitors are requested to ensure that their horses are fully vaccinated against Equine Flu. Horses need to have been vaccinated within the last 6 months.

Horses travelling from contaminated yards are forbidden to come on site. Veterinary advice should be sought should any competitor be concerned about their horse’s health prior to attending an event.  Passports must be available for checking by the secretary upon arrival at Snowball Farm.

Entries in advance, online entries preferred. Telephone & E-mail entries will not be accepted.

A: You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Snowball Farm.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Withdrawals/Refunds

 Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee (excluding the online booking fee), less an admin fee of £4.00 per Class refunded.  Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded. 
All Competitors who withdraw for whatever reason, must inform the Show Secretary on 01628 666222 or by e-mail on shows@snowballfarm.co.uk 

Terms & Conditions

 Bibs: Printed numbers will be issued.  Please make sure you bring your own bib.  Bibs must be worn on top of clothing/body protectors with number showing.

    Course: The Cross Country Course will be open for inspection from approx 2.30pm on the Friday before the event.

    General Rules:

    The competition is guided by BE rules.  Competitors should make themselves aware of the rules. 

    Stop watches are allowed.

   Horse/pony must be 5 years or older except for the70cm and 80cm classes where the horse/pony must be at least 4 years old.  Ponies must be over 137cm in height except for the 70cm classes.

   Combinations entering Class 1, 2 and 3 cannot enter Classes 10 or 11.   Riders in Classes 1, 2 and 3 may be 10yrs old.

   Warm Up:  No-one on foot in the warm-up area.  No leading/lungeing in the warm-up areas.  Anyone asked to leave the warm-up areas by a Steward must do so immediately.  Please respect the jump flags. XC Warm-up next to the     XC start.

    Correct riding attire must be worn in all classes. Correctly fitted hard hat, manufactured to one of the current safety standards, (PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) with a kitemark, VG1 with a kitemark, ASTM F1163: 2004 onwards with a SEI        mark, SNELL E2001 or E2016 with a SNELL label and number, AS/NZS 3838, from 2006 onwards), with no fixed brim, and with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted at                Snowball Farm.  Body protectors compulsory for all those competing (BETA 2009 level three body protector, or an Exo Body Cage,)

    Hair must be kept no longer than collar length.  No jewellery.

    Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite the Farm. Spectators are welcome but please park in the field opposite the Farm and not in the Farm car park.  Please keep children under close supervision.  All dogs must be kept on      non-extendable leads at all times.  

    Riders and their colleagues and their horses are respectfully asked to keep away from the Riding School.  Please obey the signs.

    The ruling of the Judges, Fence Judges, Timekeepers and Stewards is final.  A deposit of £15.00 must be lodged prior to an objection (in writing), which will be returned if the objection is upheld.

    The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any Class for whatever reason they deem necessary, to disqualify any rider at any stage, to alter the schedule at any time. If the event is abandoned a £4.00 admin fee will be                retained on all refunds.

    Health & Safety Statement.  Snowball Farm, organisers of this event, have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all                    reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the officials and stewards.

    Disclaimer of Liability   Save for death or injury caused by the negligence of Snowball Farm or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the                event, do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their                negligence, breach of contact, or statutory duty or any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the event or otherwise.
