Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite the farm. Horses and ponies must be 4 years old or over. No stallions without specific permission. British Showjumping Dress Code is applicable in all classes. Correctly fitting hard hat manufactured to one of the minimum current standards, such as PAS015 with British Standards Kite Mark, with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened, must be worn at all times when mounted at Snowball Farm. We strongly recommend that competitors wear body protectors for jumping. All children must wear body protectors while jumping. Warm Up Areas: no-one on foot allowed in warm-up areas. No lungeing/leading in SJ warm-up arena. No more than 6 horses in the SJ warm-up arena at any one time. Competitors must leave the warm-up areas if asked to do so by a steward/official. Additional SJ warm-up to the rear of Trailer/Lorry park (ground permitting). The show jumping will be run under British Show Jumping Rules. Classes will run as Single Phase. It is the responsibility of competitors to be aware of the rules. As this competition is designed to encourage unaffiliated combinations, fully paid up British Showjumping affiliated combinations of horse and rider may enter, but must ride HC in Classes 1, 2, 3 and 4; Classes 5, 6, are open to all. Please refer to rules for individual Qualifiers. The judges/organisers’ decision is final. Any objection must be made in writing with a £15 deposit, returnable if the objection is upheld. The Organisers reserve the right to alter the schedule at any time, to amalgamate/cancel classes with insufficient entries. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any Class for whatever reason they deem necessary, to disqualify any rider at any stage, to alter the schedule at any time. Should the event be abandoned then a £4.00 admin fee will be retained on all refunds. No liability shall fall on the Organisers, Landowners, Judges and Officials in respect of any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused and all competitors are deemed to be liable to indemnify the said persons in respect of any such loss, damage or injury. Dogs must be kept on non-extendable leads and under control at all times. Please keep horses/ponies well away from the Riding School. Spectators are welcome but please keep children under close supervision and park in the horse box/trailer park.
Entries close 5pm Monday prior to the competition date, after which late entries may be taken. Late entries and entries on the day, if space/time available, are subject to £2.00 per Show Jumping class. Incomplete entries will not be counted.
Clear Round: To enter Clear Round pay for a ticket from the Secretary and put its number on the blackboard. Clear Round will only run time permitting.
Show Jumping: numbers will not be called. If you are not present the next entry will go in and you will go to the bottom of the list. Show Jumping competitors take precedence over Clear Round riders in the collecting ring and warm up. Classes will not be held up, if you do not turn up your entry will be forfeited.
The Show Secretary must be informed of any changes to original entry of Rider or Horse/Pony. Change of Horse and Rider is not allowed.
Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee, less an administration fee of £4 per Class refunded. Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded unless a class is cancelled due to insufficient entries. Fees for entering online are non-refundable.
Entries will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.
Competitors must indicate whether they are Junior or Senior. If Junior please give age. This is so Qualifiers can be correctly organized.
