For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes: In the 128cms Section Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 500 Points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). In the 138cms Section, Pony riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 850 Points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. 128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms section. Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final. Pony/rider combinations who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the final of this competition. Qualifies for: Springboard Final. Qualifying Period: 1st August-31st January. Numbers to Qualify: Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Blue Chip Pony Newcomers is for registered Ponies in Grade JC & JD that have not won a total of 500 points to be ridden by Junior Members. Qualifies for: Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive.First Rosette in the Pony Newcomers section sponsored by Blue Chip. Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the First Round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off in at least four Blue Chip Pony Newcomers First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in a Pony Newcomers Second Round, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). The winner of a particular Blue Chip Pony Newcomers First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. The Open Section is open to all. Registered ponies competing in either the Open or the Newcomers Section, ridden by Junior members who have not won a total of 500 Points are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship. Qualifies for: Four double clears will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April. Qualification is Pony/rider Combination. Riders who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the Restricted Rider 1.00m Final. Ponies may compete in one section only.

Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies in grade JD & JC which have not won a total of 700 points, to be ridden by Junior Members. The first 8 ponies qualify for the final, held at the Blue Chip Winter Championships. Qualification does not pass down the line. Qualifiers must jump clear in the first round. There will be dual qualification of double clears for the Squibb Group Pony Foxhunter first round. Riders who qualify must submit their details at www.bluechipchamps.co.uk to register their qualification.

Rule 399. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6 For registered ponies not exceeding 148cms. Open to all but for qualification purposes those riders who have ever been on a Pony European Championship team, Pony Nation Cups team or pony/rider combinations in the top 10 of the Gold league as of 31st March 2019 are not eligible to qualify for the Final. Qualifies for: Final at the Welsh Home Pony Show. Qualifying period: 1 July 2018-30th June 2019 for the 2019 Final. Numbers to qualify: Those combinations who jump double clear (clear in the first round and the first jump-off) (ONE DOUBLE CLEAR) in the qualifying period.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance or on the day. To enter:

A: You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System: Payment is secure and it goes directly to The College EC.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Please make sure you check details here to make sure you enter the correct amounts in the payment boxes.

B: Download & complete the Entry Form and return to the Secretary together with your cheque made payable to "The College EC" or fill in your Credit/ Debit card details please include issue, start and expiry date.

C: Call the office and enter using your credit card on 01234 708400/ 1.

First Aid £5 per rider, per day

Terms & Conditions
1. All bookings of the centre, once confirmed, are liable to a 50% cancellation fee should they be moved or cancelled Cancellation of a full day without 3 months written notice, or a part day without a weeks notice will make the total fee due.
2. The College EC reserve the right to cancel, add to or amend any of the Competitions as they see fit due to weather conditions etc.
3. The ability to tie up horses to the outside of boxes is a privilege not a right. This practice WILL BE BANNED if horses continue to be left unattended, or are allowed to dig up the lorry park surface. No horses to be tied to buildings or fencing. No haynets outside horseboxes
4. Once an entry has been made, withdrawal will entail forfeiture of that fee. Fees will be liable immediately for any telephone / fax or e-mailed entry made after the closing date. Non declaration does not remove the requirement to pay the entry fee due
5. All unaffiliated events are run under the guidance of affiliated rules-BSJA BD or BE.
6. The decision of the judge is final.
7. Neither The College Equestrian Centre, not any of its representative or staff shall be held liable for any accident, injury or damage or loss whatsoever, howsoever caused to any person animal or property at any time.
8. Please dispose of your litter thoughtfully in bins provided.
9. Please do not muck out into car parks.
10. Please ask organizers before riding on grass. Any lungeing is by prior permission only, and is never permitted indoors or outdoors. You are politely requested to pick up all droppings on arenas after your animal. Any damage to any property owned or hired or rented by or from The College EC apart from normal wear and tear will be paid for at cost at the time of damage
11. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas, and prohibited around the stable block or in arenas.
12. All dogs must be kept on leads. Dogs are not permitted on the veranda. If dog owners do not clean up their own dogs mess, this privilege will be removed. No dogs in arenas.
13. All horse and ponies must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.
14. No competitor / rider shall allow a stallion for which they are responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure competitors, officials or other members of the public are not put at risk of injury
15. The College EC reserves the right to refuse entry to class and show ground.
16. Children must be under adult supervision at all times
17. All competitors/riders must wear correctly fastened hats to current approved safety standards and be correctly and appropriately dressed at all times when riding.
18. The College EC reserves the right to restrict prizes to one for every five entries, in accordance with BSJA Rule 76 (6)
19. Formal objections must be made within 30 minutes of event, accompanied by a deposit of £25, forfeited if the objection is over ruled. Constructive criticism is welcomed
