In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes may be withheld. Rule - 76.6 British Novice: Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. a) For Horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6. b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2014 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the British Novice Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6 Qualifies for: KBIS Insurance British Novice Championship - Second Round. Qualifying period yearly 1st May - 30th April inclusive. Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four KBIS Insurance British Novice First Round competitions held in any qualifying period will qualify to compete in and attend four KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. 90cm Open: For registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. If combined with an open: In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.

Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Discovery Final - in accordance with Rule 314.6. Qualifies for: Nupafeed Supplements Discovery Championship Second Round. Qualifying period: 1st May-30th April inclusive. All horse/rider combinations eligible for the 1.10m National Amateur First Round will receive dual qualification of double clears, in either section of a Newcomer - first round/1.10m open competition. Held at Senior Category 1 shows only. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

Rule - 76.6 Foxhunter section: (a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6 (b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2011, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify. Four Double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st June-31st May inclusive. Those horses that have qualified for the Senior Foxhunter Championship in 2018 are not eligible for qualification to the 2019 Championship. Open section: For registered horses ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. If combined with an open: In the event of 30 or more starters the class will be split with two sets of prize money.

PLEASE NOTE: we will no long accept cheques on the day of a show! Cash only.

Terms & Conditions

Shows will be run under either British Showjumping, BE, BD, BSPS, or NSPS rules. Rules will be in secretary’s office.
Entries close on the day, unless otherwise stated on the schedule.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entrant without assigning a reason.
All competitors take part at their own risk. The organisers do not hold themselves responsible for any accident that may occur to any horse, pony, rider, spectator or property.
Protective headgear, must be worn whilst mounted on the showground.
In the event of insufficient starters lower prizes may be withheld.
All prize money won must be collected from the secretary before the end of the show. We will not hold prizes over.
The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents happening & must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials & stewards.
No one should allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared in any competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure members of the public & their animals are not put at risk of injury.
ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEADS & UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES.
Please ensure that the correct foot wear Jodhpur boots or with gaiters or long riding boots only & show jackets are to be worn for all competitions, Pony club jumpers will be allowed at the children’s shows.
Please DO NOT tie your horses/ponies up to the side of the lorries/trailers
No refunds given on entries fees or private hire unless veterinary certificate is produced.
Only horses/ponies that have been entered for classes /paid for clear round can use the facilities this is due to Insurance purposes.
