Payment Details & Event Fees
Pre entries to all our shows can be made securely online at www.summerhouseequestrian.com Payment is secure and it goes directly to Summerhouse Equestrian Centre. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Pre-Entry Fee £12 per class. Entries close two days prior to the show date Late entries/entries on the day are an additional £1 per class.
Combinations placed 1st or 2nd in any class are eligible for the Summerhouse Championship. There will be one championship for Ridden Classes and one Championship for Inhand classes. The Championship takes place at the end of the section's final class. Champion receives sash and rosette. Reserve Champion receives prize also.
Please Note; This event will only run as Summerhouse Unaffiliated Showing and therefore not qualify for the Trailblazers Championships. This is due to the 2018 Championships taking place in July 2018 and 2019 qualifications cannot occur prior to the 2018 Championships. Our next Trailblazer Qualifier Showing Show is Sunday 12th August.
Classes 1-31 will run under Trailblazer Showing 2018 Rules. Please see their website for more information.

a) No refund will be made to those withdrawing after the Close of Entries b) Fifty percent of total entry fees will be returned to those whose withdrawal is received before the Close of Entries, and confirmed in writing within 7 days c) A full refund will be made for horses put on a waiting list, but not eventually offered a place d) In the event of a competition being cancelled, Organisers are entitled to retain up to £2.50 per horse, per class. The remainder is to be refunded to all entrants, including those who withdrew before the close of entries e) Competitors on a waiting list who choose to withdraw will have 50% of their total entry fees refunded
The show organisers reserve the right to refuse entries without assigning a reason. The show organisers have the right to cancel any part or the whole of the show. All times are approximate. If any classes are not full, classes may commence earlier than stated. Equally, if there are a large number of entries, subsequent classes may start later than stated. If in doubt, contact the Secretary for details (01452 726633). No unauthorised persons shall enter the show or collecting rings. The judges’ decision is final. All objections must be lodged in writing with the Show Secretary within 30 minutes of the completion of judging of the competition involved. A deposit of £20.00 must accompany the objection, which will be returned if the Jury of Appeal upholds the objection. Correct and safe dress must be worn at all times. Protective headgear must be worn at all times when mounted on any part of the showground. It is the duty of riders in the interest of safety, to ensure that their headgear provides proper protection, is correctly fitted and remains in place. Each competitor, owner or where applicable, parent or guardian, shall be solely responsible for consequences of loss or damage done to, occasioned by, or arising from any animal in their care and indemnity the Show organisers & Summerhouse EC, their officials, agents & invites against all liabilities, damages, actions, claims, proceedings, costs and/or expense in relation to or arising from his/her presence at the show. The show organisers nor Summerhouse EC, their officials and agents can not be held responsible for any accidents, theft, loss or damage, how so ever caused, arising out of or at the show. All Payments must be made by cash or cards only. Any entries unpaid by the end of the show day will incur an additional £10 admin charge. This includes declined cards. Please note that if shows are busy we may restrict entries and close classes. To guarantee an entry please pre-enter online. Entries will only be taken on the day if space and time allows. No refund of entry fees as stated in the relevant Societies Rule book (BD Rule 38A and British Showjumping Rule 79.5. 14. Unaffiliated competitions will be run in accordance to the Rule Book of the relevant discipline. Unaccompanied competitors must provide the Show organiser a contact telephone number in case of an emergency. Rules on stallions as per British Showjumping Rule 82.20 and 102.12 (as per 2015 Members Handbook) and British Dressage Rule 62. All dogs to be kept on leads at all times including in the lorry park. There is a £20 fine for any dog mess not picked up. There is a £10 fine for any horses tied up outside the horse box, that dig a hole in our car park. There is a £50 fine for any horse poo emptied out onto the car park. There is a £10 fine for any painted poles, used as ground poles. Due to the huge volume of traffic on and off the site, we are unable to keep the main entrance gate closed. Please be aware of this and do not tie horses up outside their box. Please only enter if you are happy to accept that the gates are open at all times, when the centre is open. With your booking you acknowledge that you are taking part in a risk sport and that you are a competent rider at the level you are entering.
